Mmmm, probably.
As far I know, this wiki's original form was a copy of Tv Tropes when it was under a free license. I think I heard from Geth that the admin of Tv Tropes actually changed the license to a non-free one when he realized Geth could keep copying new pages.
I do feel that it is something which can be done. However, Tropedia has more important tasks to be done, such as page clean up, image uploading.
You cannot. We use the CC-BY-SA license, which is incompatible with their CC-BY-NC-SA license. Our CC-BY-SA license, however, is compatible with Wikipedia and the rest of the Fandom Wiki websites.
Better to be original and write with your own writings.
@ArmStorage , I'm talking about the pages on this wiki from 2015 or so. They contain outdated information and look like they were copied from TV Tropes, word-for-word!
For example, Death Battle part is seriously outdated.
Long story short: No, you cannot copy anything EXCEPT exact sentences or phrases you wrote yourself on TV Tropes.
I know about that rule, but what about those pages that were made before the implementation of this rule?
I will repeat something that was posted earlier on this thread: Tv Tropes was under a free license content. That older content is under a free license. Once it's free, it can't be revoked. Tv Tropes has only private license over new pages and new edits. We don't need to change anything, it's free.
To my understanding, we have to make pages with our own edits. That being as said, TV-Tropes current licensing could retroactively apply to the content that was once "free" under their old licensing, so you can't copy older pages over here (anymore). It may have been "free" at the time it was written and when the fork happened but now it currently isn't.
To have a page that's on TVT, you'd have to remake it from scratch, in your own words. The tropes themselves, however, would be another issue entirely.
What do you think?
