@The Beautiful People If it's an unpublished fan work, do NOT use blog posts. Use your user sandbox instead.
No. That would just make Tropedia more like TV Tropes, which isn't the point of this fork. As pointed out in the Style Guide:
"Being consistent with TV Tropes is never a consideration for what Tropedia chooses to do. If we wanted to do things the TV Tropes way, we would have never forked from them in the first place."
We have them! You've just gotta look hard for them.
Long story short: No, you cannot copy anything EXCEPT exact sentences or phrases you wrote yourself on TV Tropes.
No problem.
I permabanned them.
FANDOM forced the Screamer wiki to shut down back in 2019, if I recall correctly.
The second one kinda sounds like Love Redeems.
Some former wikis, like the Screamer wiki, had to recreate their wikis with MediaWiki after they got shut down. I think maybe we could do that for Tropedia, too.
This wiki was made specifically because former TV Tropes users opposed the draconian censorship on TV Tropes, and by complying with the FANDOM staff, we would become just like TV Tropes in that we would be forced to censor discussion of these topics. That is why I say we should recreate this wiki with MediaWiki and transport everything written here to there instead.
To create links to other pages on the wiki, you type in the name of the page you want to link to and add brackets. [[Like this]].
No, we're simply a fork of TV Tropes, and we strive to do things differently from them.
TTT stands for "The True Tropes." It's a fork of Tropedia that mainly covers the Complete Monster trope.
All taken care of.
I took care of that.
I kinda like the name @Mariogoods came up with: "Tropedia."
I second that.
Basically, the two ATT forks exist because Geth and a few other former TV Tropes users did not approve of TV Tropes becoming more censorship happy. So they formed two forks (ATT FANDOM, which is this fork, and ATT Miraheze) to give other former TV Tropes users a place where they can keep doing what they originally did on TV Tropes without any of the unnecessary censorship.
TV Tropes is OK. I rarely, if ever, edit the wiki anymore, though. I usually just check TV Tropes to make sure no one is plagiarizing anything from there.
