    • "'I go, I go; look how I go,/Swifter than arrow from the Tartar's bow!' Puck delivers this line with great enthusiasm... before plodding slowly off stage right.
  • "I am speechless and have nothing to say." For some reason, it's one of my favorite lines in theatre ever.
  • Oberon's "I am invisible, and will overhear their conference" is pretty funny considering he's been on stage, completely visible, for an entire scene.
  • In the 2024 RSC production, Hermia has a nightmare about a snake on her breast whike being completely zipped up in a sleeping bag, so she's writhing around on the stage.
  • In the 2024 RSC production, the Athenians find the young couples in the woods, and back stage left is Bottom, once more human, sleeping like the dead. Egeus wakes the lovers with a loud alarm, while Bottom doesn't stir.
