Adventure Kingdom is a online 2D Flash RPG made by Seirie and Plixik (of Kongregate).

Adventure Kingdom is a rather strange fantasy RPG. Like the usual bunch, you have the ability to explore a vast array of colorful locations whilst battling quite odd enemies and bosses. In this case, odd meaning almost anything goes as well as not being part of the era. On your adventure, you'll be able to choose and upgrade from an arsenal of physical and magic abilities. Collect weapons, armor, and clothing to customize and increase your character's chances of survival in this world. But remember to apply your battle strategies well otherwise, this game may rip you a new one.

The game's story begins with you almost completing your training at the Castle Grounds. The only thing left to do is to defeat the head trainer, Master Batori. But, before you can do so, you must take care of the appearance of strange attacking monsters in the training grounds. Off you go with your Old Bamboo Stick into your first adventure...

This game can be played at here.

Tropes used in Adventure Kingdom include:
  • Always Accurate Attack : The "Lock-On" ability though, weaker than a normal attack.
  • An Adventurer Is You: Heck, even the name of the game tips it off.
  • Anti-Poopsocking: You have a max of 100 Stamina with (1 Stamina regenerating every five minutes) which limits how many adventures you can have.
  • Bare-Fisted Monk: Master Batori. Also doubles as your first boss fight.
  • Boss Remix: The normal battle theme is remixed into a faster paced, more menacing version for boss battles.
  • Bribing Your Way to Victory: Gems can be purchased from the store which can be used for multiple purposes. Namely, buying more stamina, better equipment, and of course, some of the skills.
  • Cap: The level cap for this game is currently set at 25.
  • Cast from Hit Points: The Berserk ability. It is the strongest the melee ability available to players but, requires some HP for it to be casted.
  • Chain-Reaction Destruction: Once a boss is defeated. It has a series of explosions followed by one last boom before vanishing. Which is basically a souped up version of normal enemies dieing with a single poof.
  • Crosshair Aware: The Spybot family of enemies have an attack that does this.
  • Elemental Powers: There are four elements in this game, Fire, Water, Leaf, and Storm (not counting Normal).
    • An Ice Person: Half of the water element abilities share this property. Though, they usually take more MP to cast due to the need of freezing water.
    • Blow You Away: The first half of the Storm element moves all focus on using the wind towards your advantage.
    • Dishing Out Dirt: The attacks of the Leaf element have this specialty. Also has a touch of Petal Power.
    • Making a Splash: Half of the water element abilities manipulate water to your advantage. They are usually cheaper than their ice-versions.
    • Playing with Fire: The Fire element maneuvers. It's currently also the only element which does not combine the usage of another element like the others.
    • Shock and Awe: The second half of the Storm element moves focus on using lightning or electricity.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Let's see...
    • Normal beats Normal but is also weak to Normal (due to balance purposes according to Word of God)
    • Fire beats Leaf but is weak to Water.
    • Leaf beats Storm but is weak to Fire.
    • Storm beats Water but is weak to Leaf.
    • Water beats Fire but is weak to Storm.
  • Everything's Better with Monkeys: Monkey Kong.
  • The Goomba: The Flame or Ice Fools. Usually the first enemy you encounter (at the Castle Grounds), they only have two fairly weak attacks (melee and magic) and go down in two melee hits. In fact, they'll go down in one hit from a basic Berserk attack.
  • Healing Potion: Completely Averted. There are currently no potions in the game and as such, the Heal and Rejuvenation spells or divine wishes are very important for survival. All HP and MP are restored after each stage.
  • Heal Thyself: The healing spells, and like every other ability in the game, can be raised at the appropriate level and cost.
  • Life Drain: The Vampire Bite skill can drain some HP from an opponent.
  • Limited Move Arsenal : Type 1. Only ten abilities can be equipped at a time.
  • Mana Drain: The Soul Steal skill can suck some MP from an opponent. Avoids being useless as it also causes HP damage to the opponent based on the Physical Attack stat.
  • Noob Cave: The Castle Grounds, the first place you adventure to.
  • Palette Swap: It seems that every enemy has at least one palette swap. In fact, one of their swaps can be found at a latter area of the same adventuring location. Lampshaded by the DJ Palette Swap Snake which is a swap of the DJ Snake.
  • Status Buff: The Protect (increases defense), Rage (increases melee attack), Conjure (increases magic attack), and Swiftness (increases agility) spells. Though, Rage and Conjure cross with Status Debuff as they decrease magic attack power and melee attack power respectively.
  • "Wake-Up Call" Boss: Either Master Batori (boss of Castle Grounds) or Monkey Kong (boss of Mushroom Forest). The former due to his most damaging attack, Batori Barrage, doing quite a large sum of damage compared to your health (about 30 to 40%) at the suggested level. This forces you to use heal and charge (mp restore). The latter due to forcing you to use status buffs and debuffs, as well HP and MP suckers.
  • With This Herring: With this Old Bamboo Stick, basic clothing, and no shoes in particular.
  • World Map:
