Drinking Game for Adventure Time

Game was meant to be played with low-alcohol content drink such as beer.[1] Adjust if you enjoy a stronger spirit. If you do adjust the rules, down a shot prior to the game for good measure.

General

  • Take a drink every time a princess appears.
  • Take a drink if the episode involves a kingdom.
  • Take a drink every time someone says, "Oh, my Glob!"
  • Take a drink for every time a villain appears.
    • Finish your current glass and down a second drink if the villain is not defeated, i.e. killed when they should have been.
  • Take a drink if the Mushroom Wars are mentioned.
  • Take a drink if a made-up word is said.
    • Take two drinks if someone other than Finn said it.
  • Take a drink if you see the snail.
    • Finish your glass if, by the end of the episode, you didn't.
  • Take a drink if an animal talks.
  • Take a drink if someone is Genre Savvy
    • Finish your glass if they specifically mention a Trope.
  • Take a sip for every Getting Crap Past the Radar moment.
  • Take a drink if a nickname is mentioned.
  • Take a drink if a video is shown
    • Take two if BEEMO is not showing the video i.e. holotape.
  • Take a drink every time hypermodern technology is used.
  • Take a drink if a celebrity has a cameo
    • Take two drinks if Wikipedia says their most famous role occurred before 1990.
  • Take a drink for every dilation of the pupils.
  • Take a sip if somebody speaks a language other than English.
    • Take a drink if it's Jake.
  • Take a drink if you see the Enchiridion.

Finn only

  • Take a drink if Finn wields a sword.
    • Take two if you don't remember seeing the sword before.
  • Take a drink for every song he breaks into.
    • Take additional drinks for every song in the episode (second song = 2 drinks, third song = 3 drinks).
      • Down a glass if the song was auto-tuned.
  • Take two drinks if he's wearing a different outfit.
  • Take a drink if Finn exhibits stupidity.
  • Take a drink if he gives a battle cry.
    • Take a sip for every grunt.
  • Take a drink when he fixes a problem.
  • Take a drink if he has love issues.
    • Down a glass if he breaks down and starts crying because of it.
    • Down a glass if he gets a hug.

Jake only

  • Take a sip every time he stretches.
    • Finish a glass if the stretch is begin forced.
  • Take a drink every time he does something immoral.
  • Take a drink if he's eating something.
  • Take a drink if he's seen with Lady Rainicorn.
    • Take two drinks if the encounter has romantic overtones.
  • Take a drink if Jake starts playing an instrument.
    • Take two if it's not his viola.
      • Finish a glass if Shelby is mentioned or seen.
  • Take a drink each time Jake's voice changes. Two if it goes lower. Three if it goes higher.

Princess Bubblegum only

  • Take a drink if she does or says something scientific.
    • Take two drinks if the science causes an additional problem.
      • Finish the glass if the science actually stops the problem.
  • Take a drink if she addresses the Candy Kingdom.
  • Take a drink if she's wearing a different outfit than her pink dress
    • Take two if it's a lab coat.
  • Take a drink if she experiences Sanity Slippage.
  • Take a drink if she yells at someone
    • Take two drinks if that person is Finn.
  • Take a drink if she is seen on the throne.
  • Take a drink if she has her life threatened.

Ice King only

  • Take a drink if he says, "Gunter!"
  • Take drink if he captures a princess, one for each princess
  • Take two drinks if you see his loincloth.
  • Take a drink if he casts a spell.
  • Take a drink if his crown gets knocked off.
  • Take a drink if he is being nice
    • Take a sip if the episode is "Nice King"
  • Take two drinks if he starts crying
    • Finish two glasses if Simon Petrikov is mentioned. You're going to need those drinks.

Lumpy Space Princess only

  • Take a drink if she says "Whatever."
  • Take a drink if she says "Glob" or "Lumping".
  • Take a drink if her arms are akimbo.
  • Take a drink if Lumpy Space is shown.
  • Take a drink if she wants to be more beautiful.
    • Take two drinks if she changes her appearance in the episode.
  • Take a drink if she mentions love.
    • Take two if she's the one in love.
  • Take a drink if the episode has LSP living in the woods.
  • Take a drink if she's being melodramatic.
  • Take a drink if she mentions Brad or Melissa.
  • Take a drink if she mentions partying.

Marceline only

  • Take a drink if the episode features her.
  • Take a drink if she plays her bass
  • Take a drink if she transforms into something other than a vampire.
    • Take two if the transformation causes her to grow.
  • Take a drink if she drinks the red out of something.
    • Take two if it's not a fruit.
  • Take two drinks if she is nice to Finn and Jake.
    • Finish the glass and down another is she is nice to Princess Bubblegum.
  • Take two drinks if the "Daddy, why did you eat my fries?" incident is mentioned.
    • Finish the glass if it's in song.
  • Take a drink if she uses her bass as a weapon.
  • Take a drink if she floats
    • Take two drinks if she's playing her bass as well.
