A series of children's books (target age 6 to 9 years) spun off from the 2013 Disney film Frozen. Its first volumes were released in early 2015.

As of this writing, the series includes the following volumes:

  • Anna & Elsa #1: All Hail the Queen
  • Anna & Elsa #2: Memory and Magic
  • Anna & Elsa #3: A Warm Welcome
  • Anna & Elsa #4: The Great Ice Engine
  • Anna & Elsa #5: The Polar Bear Piper
  • Anna & Elsa #6: The Arendelle Cup
Tropes used in Anna & Elsa include:

In addition to those character and location tropes defined for the setting in the original film, this book series includes the following.

  • Impossibly Delicious Food: Flangendorfers, are the "lots of delicious ingredients in one recipe" variety. Florian's Great-Uncle Klaus supposedly got the recipe form trolls, but Anna and Elsa both find this claim to be dubious, and even Florian admits he wouldn't be surprised if his uncle was the one who made the original recipe.
  • Gingerbread Bakery: Florian's Famous Flangendorfers
  • No Ontological Inertia: In All Hail the Queen, it starts snowing due to Elsa's exhaustion from overusing her powers. The snow stops as soon as she faints from exhaustion.
  • Power Incontinence: During a picnic with her friends Anna realizes Elsa (who was busy helping her subjects) needs her when it suddenly starts snowing.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something: In the first sequel novel, Elsa and Anna prove to be this. Most notably, designing and helping install a plumbing system without using Elsa's magic.
  • Supreme Chef: Florian.
  • When All You Have Is a Hammer: Played for Drama, the climax of the first sequel novel All Hail the Queen is caused by all of the villagers expecting Elsa to use her powers to solve their problems.
