Art of Fighting: Trouble in Southtown is a Beat'Em Up based on the Art of Fighting series of videogames. It is made in OpenBOR and is one of the largest OpenBOR games ever created. And all by one person! Mr. Karate has gone missing, and his students, Ryo, Robert, and Yuri, have to find him, even though they've become wanted fugitives thanks to Mr.Big. The game features many levels and enemies, a huge soundtrack, motorcycle chases, and lots of cameos.

- Adaptational Villainy: Jack Turner. Originally, he wouldn't hit a girl, and really wanted to run a dance team. Now, he's truly a merciless gang leader and shows no such qualities. John Crawley has also become a complete psycho who wants to blow up our heroes, closer to his original characterization. up until the game's climax, where he shows more of his noble nature
- The Cameo: Athena Asaimya and Kisarah Westfield are amongst the terrified civilians running for their lives in stage 3-1. One can see Mai Shiranui and Morrigan chilling out in the bar in. 4-2, and Poison seems to work there. 4-3 has a BUNCH of Capcom and SNK ladies showing up in the background. One level has a statue of Karnov that can be smashed up.

- Degraded Boss: Early-game bosses soon become rare enemies.
