Straddling a thin line between soft-spoken gynoid and temperamental child, Elpis is generally characterized as either endearing, or irritating. She has a very slow, dreamy way of speaking, and often shares thoughts on fate and love and destiny. (Though it's doubtful she truly understands such things.) But at the same time, she can be provoked with little to no effort at all, and is subsequently prone to violent mood swings and tantrums. Restraint is a rather difficult concept to her. Ellipses, however, are not.
