Orton gets maimed

Looks like Randy Orton bit off more than he could chew...

Standing in the same ring with the Beast Incarnate means you're going to have your career shortened.

  • Crossing between this and Moment of Awesome, his botched Shooting Star Press in his match against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania XIX not only gave him a concussion but almost broke his neck, which could've left him paralyzed or worse. The obvious silver lining was him beating Angle and winning the WWE Championship. How Lesnar managed to not only survive the ordeal, but also finish the match, is anyone's guess...
Tazz: "How was Lesnar not dead right now?!"
    • Backstage after the match, Lesnar lashed out as a side-effect of his sustained concussion after that botched SSP. It's more likely from that point on, Lesnar stopped using the Shooting Star Press, otherwise he might have suffered something similar to Chronic Traumatic Encelopathy (CTE).
  • Before he mastered the Kimura Lock, Lesnar had a unique submission move called the "Brock Lock"; an over-the-shoulder single-leg Boston Crab. With that, Lesnar could twist his opponents' bodies like a pretzel, as Shannon Moore and Rey Mysterio both fell victim to this move - to the point where it even broke Moore's neck.
  • Lesnar tossing Zach Gowen down a flight of stairs backstage. Mr. McMahon tries to reason with Brock, only for his pleas to fall on deaf ears as he has to watch the poor guy get chucked down the stairs, followed by a bone-chilling Evil Laugh from Lesnar.
    • Speaking of Zach Gowen, the August 21, 2003 episode of SmackDown!; only this time, Gowen's mother bears witness to her son being manhandled by Lesnar. Lesnar wants to make sure that Zach's mother is watching her son go through a hellish agony by busting the poor guy's head open with a chair shot, followed by an F5 onto a steel ringpost, more chair shots on Zach's leg, and finally another F5 until Mrs. Gowen jumps off the barricade to check on her son.
  • A week before the aforementioned beatdown on Zach Gowen, Brian "Spanky" Kendrick is placed into a match against Lesnar by Mr. McMahon after the former accidentally spilled chocolate syrup all over Vinnie Mac's suit. Lesnar goes all-out against Kendrick with no restraint, going as far as to bash Kendrick's head in with a steel chair, busting him wide open - before finally sending Kendrick into a steel ringpost. At the end of the match, Vince smiles in satisfaction and raises Lesnar's arm.
  • Ambushing Shawn Michaels and dragging him into the middle of the ring. He and Paul Heyman hold HBK hostage with Brock putting on the Kimura Lock and Heyman forcing Triple H to watch as his client snaps the Heartbreak Kid's arm like a matchstick.
  • In the January 28, 2013 episode of RAW, Lesnar confronts Mr. McMahon after Paul Heyman is exposed as the mastermind behind Brad Maddox sabotaging Ryback's WWE title match and the emergence of The Shield. Vince boldly warns Lesnar "If I were you, I wouldn't do something I would regret later on". Lesnar responds by giving the chairman an F5.
  • Brock Lesnar's absolutely vicious beatdown of John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. To wit, Cena was essentially put through a fifteen-minute Squash Match, taking an F5 from Lesnar barely a minute into the match before Lesnar took him to town, hitting sixteen German suplexes as he practically threw Cena around the ring like a ragdoll. It got to the point that JBL, who normally acts as the pro-heel announcer, was begging Lesnar to stop. Even when Cena managed to hit the Attitude Adjustment midway through the match, Lesnar was barely even fazed as he kicked out. Cena then managed to knock Lesnar down and tried to regroup, only for Lesnar to sit straight up, mocking the Undertaker's famous sit-up taunt, laughing maniacally as he sported one of the creepiest Slasher Smiles in pro-wrestling history. Finally, a desperate Cena tries to make Lesnar tap out to the STF, only for Lesnar to throw him off like it was nothing, before mercifully bringing the match to an end with an F5. In short, Lesnar not only won, but he absolutely destroyed the WWE's top babyface in one of the most one-sided main events in pro-wrestling history.
    • Just as frightening is his savage beatdown of Randy Orton two years later at SummerSlam 2016 pictured above. It was a very hard match to watch, especially the finish. From the crowd going silent, to the fact that Orton had a piece of his forehead flapping around after the beating, it was perhaps one of the most visceral images in the modern era of WWE.
  • The Wyatt Family cornering both Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Lesnar was still reeling after laying waste to Sheamus and The League of Nations after being speared by Reigns twice. Reigns is outnumbered by all four members of the family and Bray Wyatt puts him down with a Sister Abigail. When Lesnar stands up, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan maul the Beast before Wyatt introduces Lesnar to Sister Abigail.
  • Royal Rumble 2018: Doubles as a Moment of Awesome, Lesnar in a triple threat match with Kane and Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men dished out a stiff knee strike to Lesnar's jaw. In retaliation, the Beast hits Strowman with a stiff right hand. You could see Strowman's skull bounce from the impact of Lesnar's punch.
  • In the September 30, 2019 episode of RAW, if giving two F5s to Rey Mysterio as his son Dominick can only watch in horror wasn't terrifying enough. Then dragging the kid out of the crowd into the ring and mauling him is much worse. Paul Heyman even attempts to keep the Beast at bay, to no avail.
  • Doubles as a Moment of Awesome, Lesnar entering at #1 in the 2020 Royal Rumble match while still the WWE Champion. Not even the current generation of superstars could lay a finger on the guy, as powerhouses like Big E, Braun Strowman and NXT's Keith Lee failed to topple Lesnar out of the ring. It shows that Lesnar still remains as a terrifying force of nature to this day in professional wrestling history, and he could've easily kept the WWE title and furthered his championship reign... had Drew McIntyre not entered the Rumble and eliminated him, that is.
  • Even after his Heel Face Turn in late 2021, Brock is still the same loose cannon who'll unpredictably suplex or F5 anyone who rubs him the wrong way, especially on other Heels.
    • Not even Sami "The Weasel" Zayn was safe from Brock, especially after he tried to befriend him. Brock manhandled Sami like a ragdoll before he could get the chance to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
    • SmackDown, March 11, 2022: Paul Heyman should've thought twice about taunting his former client when Roman Reigns wasn't present at the show. The look on Paul Heyman's face when he realized that he'd just revealed to Brock that Reigns wasn't in the building said it all. Things went From Bad to Worse when Brock asked Paul who was there to protect him. While this segment was hilarious in and on itself, it also came off as a Mook Horror Show on Paul's end since Lesnar was close to catching up with him.
    • On the March 18, 2022 episode of SmackDown, Brock drives a forklift straight at an SUV with Paul Heyman and the Bloodline inside, with the look of utter fear on the face of Roman Reigns being akin to one taken straight out of a horror movie. Oh, and Brock enjoyed every second of it, as Michael Cole and Pat McAfee pointed out.
  • SmackDown, July 22, 2022: If you happen to be "Mr. Money in the Bank" and plan on cashing in your contract on a current WWE champion, in this case Roman Reigns, then Brock Lesnar is the one guy you need to watch out for. Austin Theory found that out the hard way, as he got back-to-back F5s after deciding that it would be a good idea to mock The Beast Incarnate.
    • Theoretically (no pun intended), if Theory does succeed in cashing in his contract and becoming the next WWE Undisputed Champion, he's going to have a massive target painted on his back. Chances are that Theory would most likely lose the belt to Lesnar in more or less than a second or two, possibly a repeat of how Kofi Kingston lost the WWE Championship to Lesnar back in 2019 after running straight into an F5.

UFC[]

  • Doubling as a Tear Jerker, Lesnar's first stint in the UFC wasn't kind to him. Having sidelined from his MMA career twice due to a bad case of diverticulitis - an intestinal disorder which requires surgery. Among the complications of diverticulitis are abscesses, fistulas and bowel perforation to name a few. Sadly, his struggles with diverticulitis forced Lesnar to retire from MMA following his last match against Alistair Overeem.
Lesnar: "Tonight was the last time you'll see me in the octagon."

Other[]

  • The infamous "Plane Ride from Hell" incident shows that Brock Lesnar is probably the last person you'd want to piss off in real-life. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig found that out the hard way when he ribbed Lesnar by squirting shaving cream on his head, which caused Lesnar to go absolutely ballistic and slam Hennig right into an emergency door on a plane in mid-flight.
