Chaotic Order is a rather controversial (to say the least) Massive Multiplayer Crossover My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic fanfiction written by cartuneslover16. The basic premise is that Discord has become free and the mane six have to seal him but it appears that Twilight Sparkle has gone missing. It can be read here in the artist's DA gallery.
Tropes used in Chaotic Order include:
- Crossover Shipping: Mordecai has a crush on Twilight Sparkle and there is a romance between the artist's Codename: Kids Next Door OC and Kick Buttowski.
- Deadpan Snarker: Rigby, who provides some Lampshading throughout the story.
- Justin Bieber: Abjay used to be one of his fangirls.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and the following:
- Fangirl: Abjay to Discord
- MST: One exsists, but stops at chapter eight, which can be read here.
- May-December Romance: Twilight and Discord
- Poor Communication Kills: How the search for Twilight began. Spike accidentally burned a note Twilight left explaining that she went to look for Discord, and everything snowballed from there. This becomes a Running Gag later on.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: The idea of Discord possibly raping Twilight is what drives Mordecai to want to kill Discord in chapter 6.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Twilight gives one of these to basically everyone when they resealed Discord near the end of the first half of Chapter Fourteen.
