Chieko Honda (1963-2013) was a veteran seiyu from Nagano who was quite expert in playing Action Girl or Genki Girl roles. She did come out of her pigeonhole on many occasions, though.
She sadly died of cancer on February 18, 2013, just a month and ten days before her 50th birthday.
