Colorful Song

A song which names many different colors.

Often serves as a cheap excuse for Mood Lighting: for instance, when the singer sings that he's blue, he is surrounded by a blue spotlight or camera filter.

• In the pilot of Darkwing Duck, Gozalen sings a lullaby her grandfather taught her to Darkwing since he doesn't know any, which is mostly singing random colors that exist in the rainbow in a seemingly random and redundant order. That is until Darkwing notices that her grandfather's Zero Point interface cannon has a color coded keyboard.
• In Class of 3000, we have "A Richer Shade of Blue" and "The Crayon Song".
• In Numberblocks, Seven's Image Song, "Your Lucky Charm" has "Rainbow Time!" as its own refrain, along with a line, referring to the fact that he is a tower of seven blocks, with each block in a color of the rainbow, with rainbow hair on top, reflecting the traditional seven colours of the rainbow.
