ChampClown

Champ puts the Monster in Monster Clown.

The horrifically dark world of Akame Ga Kill! is filled to the brim with all sorts of absolutely unpleasant people who indulge in crimes such as torture, rape, and murder with glee. Yet these characters stand out as particularly twisted individuals.

  • To start things off, Prime Minister Honest is an obese and absolutely disgusting man who is purely responsible for the empire being such a corrupt and horrific hellhole. He's pulling the strings behind the child emperor Makoto and is doing his best to twist him into as much of a repulsive tyrant as he is by corrupting him, and keeps other government officials in line with threats of torture and murder if they try to defy him. He allows his groups of enforcers called the Jaegars (Who thankfully have some standards regarding their villainy) and the Wild Hunt (Who don't) to torment civilians through murder, torture, pillaging and (in the Wild Hunt's case) rape with reckless abandon. And when his son and top enforcer Syura died? He cried for all of a second before deciding that he could have another son anyway and dismissed him as a failure. That's how much his own flesh and blood means to him. It's thanks to this morally bankrupt weasel that the empire is as bad as it is.
    • His establishing scene alone ought to clue you in as to how bad he is: he casually oversees the Emperor ordering the execution of an innocent man while voicing his approval, and smugly tells him that he'll make sure to take "care of his wife... every single part of her" while casually chowing down on some food. Yeah.
  • And of course, Syura himself is every bit as twisted as his own father and in some ways, even worse since he directly engages in his atrocities. As mentioned above, Syura is the leader of a secret police team called the Wild Hunt that is dedicated to crushing the insurrectionist group the Night Raid. While he doesn't care for his own father and wishes to surpass him, this doesn't stop Syura from smugly challenging the innocents that he and his merry band of psychos butcher to try to stand up to the Prime Minister's son, and gets away with his atrocities without so much as a slap on the wrist. Men, women, and children alike are not spared from his wrath as he rapes, murders, and tortures them all the same, and once he finally gets his dirty hands the Night Raid member Lubbock, he tortures him in many gruesome ways including crushing one of his testicles. Thankfully, this bratty little psycho gets perhaps one of the most deliciously satisfying Humiliation Congas when he's beaten senseless in a fist-fight, gets most of his gang killed, gets his corruption exposed and is forced to disband the Wild Hunt, and dies at the hands of his victim Lubbock, and Honest getting over his death in seconds and dismissing him as useless. Good riddance.
  • Pictured above: The rest of the Wild Hunt are bad enough but Champ is without a doubt the worst of the lot, which is saying something indeed. To wit, he's not just any old rapist, he's a child rapist who believes that adults are disgusting and that children are pure angels that "need to stay pure forever". When a woman tries to protect a little boy from his lust, Champ angrily beats her to death for getting in his way. And when fellow monster Syura corners the grieving widow and daughter of a true war hero at his grave, he wastes no time in raping the daughter while Syura has his way with the wife. And keep in mind, this guy has been doing this for years. In fact, he is the reason why Run joined the Jaegers: he was a former teacher whose class of young students were all murdered and raped by Champ, and he wants him dead for slaughtering those children. Infuriatingly, he flat out tells Run that the only thing that he remembers about that day is that he was pissed off that their screams for help ruined his fun, and otherwise has it blurred in his memory due to the sheer amount of child victims that he's claimed. When Run puts him down, there's absolutely no way you'll shed so much as a single tear for this bastard.
  • Among the lower tier servants of the Empire, Bolic stands out as easily the most repulsive. A spy working for Prime Minister Honest himself, Bolic posed as a high-ranking individual of the Path of Peace and worked towards killing the group's leader and taking his place so that the Empire could manipulate the religious organization for its own purposes. Once he's secured a powerful enough position, he is shown to be deliberately getting members of the Path of Peace addicted to special drugs that he claimed would "bring them "closer to the Lord", only to then use them as slaves and sex toys once they were drugged up enough. During the Night Raid assault on the church, Bolic was protected by Esdeath and the Jaegers only to abandon them once he believed his life and position was secured. He showed no concern for the religious followers he left as collateral damage during the attack and he even planned to rape the injured Leone as a consolation. Even Seryu Ubiquious of the Jaegers, herself a crazed Knight Templar with skewed ideals of justice, expressed nothing but utter disgust for this guy and the fact that she was assigned to his protection. Espousing virtues of faith and charity that he had zero interest in following himself, Bolic was in truth an incredibly hedonistic individual, caring only for the pleasuring of his own wicked heart, abusing and raping any person unfortunate enough to interest him.
  • Bach was once a child slave who grew up to be a slavebroker driven purely by greed and sadism. When he managed to convince the teenagers Air, Fal and Luna that he was a good person, Bach brought them to his henchmen to take them into slavery, and he then had Fal's legs broken, her teeth knocked out and all her fingers chopped off, which caused her to die within a week. He has Luna's eyes gouged out for one of his henchmen's pleasure, causing her to commit suicide, and has Air stripped down and then raped by a dog that was in heat while he and his henchmen watched. Bach then enslaves Air and has her treated like a dog, which later causes her to commit suicide. Utterly heartless in his violation of human rights, even those of children, Bach was one of the Night Raid's most detestable foes.
  • "Uncle Bill", real name unknown, is the leader of the Empire's assassination squad, Group of Terror. Using the children that weren't skilled enough to be part of the Elite Seven, Bill uses drugs to enhance their skills in a painful process that also includes indoctrination into absolute loyalty. Training children with inhuman methods that weren't far from tortures, including leaving them without needed drugs as punishment, Bill didn't care if they died during missions, and even "euthanized" one of them after considering her the weak link of the team. A cold man that doomed many children to painful lives, including Akame's sister Kurome, Bill's "training" affected her for years.
