• Captain Ersatz: A Composite Character combination of Cagalli Yula Athha and Stella Loussier put together.

Salia (Salia Tereshkova)

• Expy: To Shinn Asuka in terms of the need to be accepted by somebody. This was lampshaded by Shinn himself in Super Robot Wars V that he's very similar to what Salia became after she turned to Embryo.

Hilda (Hildeguard Schlievogt)

• Captain Ersatz: Hilda is basically Flay, Meyrin, Yoko and Viral put together.

• Expy: To Rangiku Matsumoto.

Rosalie

• Money Fetish: Rosalie is focused on gaining wealth.

Chris

• Unwitting Pawn: Much like Ersha and Salia before her, Chris found out the hard way once Embryo ditched her to be killed by the DRAGONs in the penultimate episode.

• Accidental Pervert: Keeps getting into awkward situations with Ange.

Jill (Alektra Maria Von Loewenherz)

• Expy: She's a gender-flipped and deconstruction of Rossiu. Both will go into further extremes in their objectives of facing an incoming threat humanity - the Anti-Spiral and Embryo, respectively. Rossiu puts Simon behind bars and sentences him to death after learning the threat of the Anti-Spiral race. Jill is manipulating her subordinates just to further her revenge against Embryo. Ultimately, both of them were snapped out of their Despair Event Horizons - Rossiu gets slugged into the face by Simon, and Jill is forced to confess about her failed Libertus rebellion, and hands the leadership to Hilda.

• Big Bad: The one that holds through in the second half of the series.
• Eviler Than Thou: Embryo proves himself that he is as sociopathic and sexist to the point he makes Julio a decent human being.
• Captain Ersatz: He's basically both Rau Le Creuset and Rey Za Burrel merged into one, considering the fact that they share the same voice actor.
• Expy:
  • Cast in a similar mold as Paptimus Scirocco and Gilbert Durandal. Embryo has Scirocco's personality and ego along with Durandal's cynical worldview.
  • Also, he's one to Leonard Testarossa. Even Leonard himself lampshades this in Super Robot Wars V that he and Embryo have a lot in common. But, Leonard is visibly disgusted with Embryo's harem schemes.
  • Let's see, this isn't the first time we saw a blonde anime villain with a penchant of playing god who tries to lust on a female main protagonist. Are we talking about Embryo or Nobuyuki Sugou?
• Knight of Cerebus: Taken Up to Eleven. Once Embryo shows up, the series started out about bigotry, prejudice, and misogyny before transitioning into graphic Mind Rape right down to culminating a mass genocidal catastrophe.
