- Contested Sequel — Crystal Crazy introduced more convoluted objectives, such as assembling jigsaw puzzles and sinking pool balls in order. Some considered it a quantum leap over its predecessor, but it never won enough popularity to be ported beyond the Mac.
- Good Bad Bugs — Pause the game as you exit the first level, then go grab a snack while a massive time bonus accrues.
- Most Wonderful Sound — Nabbing a Bonus Crystal. And the climax of each level, of course.
- Sequel Displacement — Crystal Quest thoroughly displaced Crystal Raider, a Shareware prototype so primitive that it didn't even have a Quit command. (You actually had to reboot the computer to escape it.)
