Hannah Dakota Fanning (born 1994) is an American actress. She was born in the state of Georgia, and her sister Elle Fanning is also an actress. She has been nominated for many awards, and whenever a child actress starts gaining attention, she is referred to as "the next Dakota Fanning." She attends New York University, and continues to work on film projects.
Dakota Fanning has performed in the following roles:
- I Am Sam as Lucy. Her performance made her the youngest person to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, and she was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, becoming its youngest member.
