Trivia about Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures includes:
- Author Phobia: Amber's scared of equines and, so, some of the antagonistic/evil characters are equines
- Reality Subtext: The reason for why Aliyka, Merlitz, and Aaryana are either Put on a Bus or don't show up as much is because they were borrowed from Furcadia and when the group broke up and left the website, Amber decided to quietly remove them from the comic, though Aliyka had her castpage removed from the site entirely.
- Schedule Slip: Amber is a sick a lot, so the comic gets some setbacks when it comes to updates. However, their fans don't mind it so much.
- The Wiki Rule: Wiku
- Write Who You Know: A lot of the characters are based off of people Amber knows. A more obvious but different case is Alexsi Ti'Fiona, who was based off of a well-known (and much loved) Furcadia player who passed away of pneumonia named, Alexsi Athenis (read here). Said Furcadia player's in-game persona was a feline, used a mallet, and resided in a location called "Lost Lake".
