Die Doofen (The stupid ones) was the two-man band made up of Wigald Boning and Olli Dittrich, of RTL Samstag Nacht fame. They regularly appeared in the show from 1992-98, boosting their popularity. In 1995, their song "Mief!" made Top 1 in Germany.
