- Americans Hate Tingle: While Disney Junior has gained success in America and Britain, Disney Junior was never popular in both Japan and South Korea. Values Dissonance and Cultural Translation difficulties are strongly at play in both countries, making much of Disney Junior content a hard sell in these countries.
- Hypocritical Fandom: Fans of the channel's Disney Junior block like to bash the shows that air on fellow preschool block Nick Jr., dismissing them as shows that "claim to teach social skills, but really only exist to sell toys." But what a lot of those fans don't realize (or, perhaps more correctly, refuse to realize) is that many of the flaws they make a fuss about in Nick Jr. shows (such as plasticky animation and having little educational value other than social skills) are also present in most, if not all, of the shows that air on Disney Junior.
