- Ethnic Scrappy: The waiter who Davey fails to pay acts very stereotypically Chinese. On the lighter side of things, he gets Davey arrested.
- The Scrappy: Whitey can be considered annoying due to his voice. However, some might find his voice to be hilarious, especially when he sings, or sympathize with him due to being the Butt Monkey.
- Tear Jerker: Davey's past and possibly the mall scene where he finally reads the Hanukkah card his parents where going to give him before they died.
- What Do You Mean It's Not for Kids?: Yes, it's an animated wacky holiday musical rife with toilet humor, but given what our "hero" is like, it is most definitely not for children. Doesn't help that in Canada, the movie's rated PG. 14A would have been more like it.
- The Woobie: Whitey.
- Jerkass Woobie: Davey, after you learn that his parents died when he was a boy. On Hanukkah.
