These things about Eternals are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.
- Alternative Character Interpretation: Retroactively applied to Thanos. With Eros' introduction, many fans began wondering if Thanos' Depopulation Bomb was motivated by him discovering that a Celestial was gestating within Titan and Thanos sought to prevent its emergence.
- Older Than They Think: Some viewers thought Tiamaut gestating within Earth was a reference to the Cluster from Steven Universe but the idea originates in Marvel's Earth X.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: A common critique of the film. The cast is so large that none of the Eternals are fleshed out to their fullest.
- Unexpected Character: Pip the Troll makes his live-action debut.
