F is for Family is a 2015 American web animated sitcom.

The year is 1973. Frank Murphy is a baggage handler and Korean War veteran with a short temper. He have a problematic relationship with his oldest son,Kevin, and hates his neighbour for being wealthy, successful and engaging with...women more attractive than Frank's wife. Mind you, his neighbour don't seems to be arrogant about this, in fact, he seems to be a very good guy. The truth is, Frank believes that the world is out to screw him and gets angry because of this. He is also obsessed with a series where a middle-aged overweight man is an action hero...Escapism, perhaps?

Co-created by Bill Burr and Michael Price. Produced by Gaumont International Television and Vince Vaughn's Wild West Television.

Tropes used in F Is For Family include:
  • The Ace: Vic's existence seems clearly made to make Frank feel irritated: he have a muscular body, a hell of a Porn Stache(in the 70s, a status of masculinity), a Cool Car, and is always along with some hot women. He is basically a 70s , R-rated version of Dinkleberg.
  • Anti-Hero: Kevin beats up the leader of a group of bullies that were messing with his younger brother,Bill...and promptly beats up Bill for getting into trouble with said bullies in first place, irritated because the incident prevented his girlfriend's hand of reaching his crotch...It Makes Sense in Context.
  • Cosmic Plaything: Frank thinks he is one, and is very happy when finally he gets the upper hand on something on the first episode...And almost collides with a truck just after.
  • The Dreaded: It isn't explained why, but Kevin's reputation precedes him. Soon as the bullies that were messing with his brother see him, all but the leader of them runs away, and the leader doesn't even try to put up a fight.
  • Stealth Pun: The owner of the electronics shop saying that orientals have "small hands" in the first episode. In-universe isn't a joke and must be a reference to the fact that japanese are stereotyped as skinny people, but "small hands" is often a euphemism for "small penis", and another common stereotype about the japanese is that they have small penises.
