  • All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted.   • All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. Fanfics are a diverse beast; the only real "rule" is that they have to be based on existing source material. We here at All The Tropes care about them mainly to this extent—is it worthy enough that someone, somewhere, was willing to write a reasonably good trope page for it? If yes, then this is your index - a catalog of all notable fanfics, classified by the works they're based off of.

Please don't mistake a fanfic's inclusion on this page as being some sort of vindication of it as being a piece of art. Remember that we're a wiki for all trope-based fiction, good or bad. Whether or not something is liked has nothing to do with tropes. In other words, while many of the fics listed below are considered worth a read by a number of tropers, that can still mean that the fic in question is very, very bad.

Note that since this is intended to be an index of fics with pages, a Red Link will be frowned on and given a very brief (week or two) grace period before being removed by your fellow tropers deleted as soon as it's seen. Start the page for the fic if you think it should be in this index.
