The Street Fighter roster contained a wide, divergent amount of characters, with a list of their particular weaknesses.
- Ryu's desire to seek worthy opponents, no matter how strong they are. However, if pushed too far, Ryu could succumb into the Satsui no Hado.
- For Ken, is his overconfidence, in a more subtle way.
- Sagat has two:
- His Pride. In the first game, losing to Ryu made him driven to get revenge on him for the scar on his chest, which in turn damaged his ego, unaware of the fact that Ryu gave in to the Satsui no Hado.
- Second, was his Revenge against Ryu. By Street Fighter Alpha 3, he has since mellowed out after cutting ties with Bison and Shadaloo. These two Fatal Flaws essentially awakened the Satsui no Hado within him through the scar on his chest in Street Fighter V.
- Adon is basically Sagat at his worst taken Up to Eleven. Sagat's win quote in SSFIV describes Adon as a man living under his mentor's shadow.
Sagat: The fact that you were once my apprentice is a source of great shame. |
- Vega's self-indulgence for beauty is the most obvious example.
- For Balrog is Greed, as well his pathological need to satiate his vices.
- M. Bison is defined by his ambition, god complex, and taking pride on all his evil actions.
- Dan Hibiki is brought down by his hubris (his fighting style is a paltry caricature of the Ansatsuken martial arts, his ego is so bloated that he even sometimes tries to steal credit for other people's actions) and revenge against Sagat in that Gouken had to expel him from the dojo knowing that a revenge-driven man like Dan (and Sagat, as mentioned above) can easily manifest the Satsui no Hado and might become a proper threat in time.
- Cody's pathological need to fight was the reason he got locked behind bars in the first place. Since then, Cody has becoming apathetic and cynical while maintaining his sense of justice. Even becoming Metro City's new mayor in V, Cody hasn't changed his habits.
- Sakura's desire to follow Ryu's footsteps also counts. While not necessarily a bad thing, however, some of Sagat's victory quotes against Sakura says otherwise.
- Dudley's is his Pride. Some characters in Street Fighter 4 and SFXT say that while Dudley is a strong boxer and a good guy, that he's quite prideful and his pride hinders his fighting ability.
- For Gouken, is his compassion. He can't bring himself to kill Akuma both times after defeating him, which comes back to bite him in the form of a ten year long coma.
- Rufus has many to name a few, namely his overconfidence, lack of common sense (probably why he keeps mistaking blonde-haired characters for Ken Masters, or even Ryu and Akuma for wearing a similar karate gi like Ken), and being too talkative (his quotes in SFIV are too long).
- For F.A.N.G., is his fanatical loyalty towards Bison, it goes to the point that his authority overshadows that of Vega and Balrog, the two even dislike him.
