Five nights at treasure island

Five Nights at Treasure Island is a Five Nights at Freddy's fan game based off of Abandoned by Disney Creepypasta, itself based on Mickey Mouse by Disney. The game was published by Radiance.

You are Supernatural Studies Association intern Jake Smith and you are squatting at ruins of Disney attraction Treasure Island, getting instructions from Greg Mac Lochlainn and Lisa Bertsch. They inform you that you are not alone, as living Disney characters like Mickey and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit roam the facility.

The first demo debuted in December 1st, 2014, with a first remaster debuting on January 26th, 2015. Creator Matthew Rodriguez aka AnArt1996 enlisted the StellaWisps and The Purity Sinners to develop a second remaster which debuted on June 29th, 2015.

After AnArt1996 and StellaWisps left, The Purity Sinners removed Photo-Negative Mickey in favor of Steamboat Willie, claiming to have a dispute with Abandoned by Disney creator Christopher Howard Wolf aka Slimebeast. Wolf disputed this, claiming to have no problem with the game until Purity tried to sever connections with his Creepypasta. Purity quit as a game developer, but not before debuting a third remaster on July 24th, 2015.

Blackout1912 recruited StellaWisps to develop a fourth remaster, but never debuted a playable edition. AnArt1996 tried to develop a fifth remaster which only reached alpha stage that debuted October 28th, 2017.

It wasn't till November 28th, 2020 that the group Radiance finally finished the game with help from AnArt1996 and StellaWisps. The game was given an extensive visual upgrade, with a new foreboding atmosphere. The game was followed up by sequel Oblitus Casa, and Radiance is working on one final edition of the game, renamed Treasure Island.

Tropes used in Five Nights at Treasure Island include:
This page needs more trope entries. You can help this wiki by adding more entries or expanding current ones.
  • Composite Character: During development, characters Henry Miller and The Undying were planned, but they were combined into one character for the final version.
  • Controllable Helplessness: Like the original Five Nights at Freddy's letting the power run out will leave Jake defenseless, in addition leaving the power off for too long means it can not be turned back on.
  • Decomposite Character: Photo-Negative Mickey in this game is a living toon, while The Undying takes up the "Mickey Costume brought to life" aspects.
  • Disability Immunity: In the final version Goofy aka Acephalous can not be deceived with by turning off a camera or turning off the lights as he can not hear or see without a head. The only defense against him is holding still, as Acephalous can feel Jake move.
  • Evil Sounds Deep:
    • Photo-Negative Mickey and Oswald talk in deep booming voices as they move from room to room.
    • All of the toons in the final version let out a deep roar when they jumpscare Jake.
  • The Faceless: The group photo of the Supernatural Studies Association has Jake's face scratched off. Jake did have an official appearance but this photo is now considered non canon.
  • Final Exam Boss: Hourglass emulates each of the previous enemies and must be fought off using the technique of the enemy whose route he emulated. If he appears in the mascot prep room or storage room Jake must turn off a camera, if he appears in the bathroom or locker room Jake must hold still, and if he appears on the roof Jake must turn off the lights.
  • Losing Your Head:
    • Mickey repeatedly askes "Do you wanna see my head come off?".
    • Donald Duck aka Disembodied is a detached head, surviving without a body. Only the final version gives him spider-like legs to walk around.
    • Acephalous walks around without a head.
  • Who Needs Their Whole Body?:
    • Oswald is stated to not be a threat due to his lack of arms, but can still kill Jake.
    • The Face, is another Mickey, who lacks legs and must drag himself around.
  • Truer to the Text: Custom Night exclusive Mascot Photo-Negative Mickey is much closer to the Creepypasta character, being a realistic depiction of a Disneyland costume, and also having a "hushed, perverted" imitation of Mickey's voice as opposed to this game's Photo-Negative Mickey who has a deep booming voice. He also says the phrase "Hey do you wanna see my head come off?" as a whole, as opposed to the regular Photo-Negative Mickey who says "Hey" and "Do you wanna see my head come off?" separately.
