Fluchtweg is a punk band from Germany. Or Ska-Punk-Pop-Folk-Polka-Tango-Country-Tequila-Trash, as they say. Originally founded in 1984 in Neuruppin (ex-East Germany), they soon moved to Berlin instead.
They dissolved in 1986, were re-founded again in 1988, broke up in 2000 and were re-founded yet again in 2006.
Uncommon for punk bands, a saxophone player is part of the band.
Their texts are on a quite high level and not immediately understandable for everyone. Viewers Are Geniuses indeed.
