The fourth Pretty Cure Elsewhere Fic by the author of Pretty Cure Perfume Preppy, Bokura wa Gaia Pretty Cure and Chanbara Pretty Cure.
In the year 2006, while Saki and Mai try their hardest to save the seven fountains and defeat Dark Fall, 10-year-old Komugi Haneuma is bullied by the rest of her female classmates merely because of her interest in cars. Alienated from the other girls, she runs away and bumps into Azami Honda, a girl the same age as her who is the daughter of a vehicle mechanic. The two become friends, but are forced to separate once Komugi is found by her parents.
Six years later, Komugi has precociously achieved her dream of becoming a racecar driver, and after her first race reunites with Azami, who is now part of Komugi's rival's pit crew. They rekindle past memories, but their tender moment is interrupted by the arrival of the Kougaiders, an alien reckless biker gang with the goal to pollute Earth. Komugi and Azami are approached by two fairies named Rotor and Nitro, who give them items known as Wheel Communes and tell them to use said items to transform. Now, as Cure Wheat and Cure Lavender, Komugi and Azami must fight and collect the shards of the Highway Star in order to prevent Earth from being polluted and save the Land of Speed from the Kougaiders.
