- When his hasty proposal is rejected by Nessa, Smithy says this and Nessa isn't pleased...though for different reasons:

- Uncle Bryn singing James Blunt in the car with Pam...who is not impressed.
- While on the phone to Stacey at work, Ness sees two youths messing around with one of the arcade games. She repeatedly calls out 'Oh' from her booth, without calling any louder and not getting any result. Finally getting fed up, Nessa storms over and points to a sign that says, in Welsh, 'Don't touch the machines', before telling the others to get lost or she will 'break their faces'. She then goes back to her booth and tells Stacey she can't talk any longer because 'it's mayhem down here'.
- When Nessa is giving birth to Neil, the baby, Smithy and Gavin, having travelled all the way from Billericay, are running full pelt down the hospital corridor so Smithy doesn't miss it. They simultaneously slip on a patch of wet floor and fall over hilariously in the corridor. Then, without a word, they get up and continue running.
- When everyone has heard that Gavin's dad will be on the TV and gather together complete with champagne, then it's revealed that it's because he's found a dead body. They sit down and watch the news:

- What makes it infinitely funnier is that, while Mick gave a full interview to the news during the event, the only thing they included in the news was...

Mick: Well, it's the last thing you expect to see when you come to work in the morning. |

- How about the Christmas Episode? "To be honest, love, I'm absolutely twatted..."
- Or, even better, in the middle of singing the Band Aid song, Smithy randomly bellows at a passing car "Oh, come on, dickhead!"
- "Oh. Oh. Oh. Merry Christmas."
