Gemma Chan (born 1982) is an English actress of Chinese descent. She studied law at Oxford, but switched to studying acting at Drama Centre London, from which she graduated in 2008. Her roles since then include:
- Doctor Who (2009 episode "The Waters of Mars") as Mia Bennett
- The IT Crowd (2010 episodes) as Female Sulu and Ivana
- Sherlock (2010 episode "The Blind Banker") as Soo Lin Yao
- Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2011 episodes) as Charlotte the Dominatrix
- The Marvel Cinematic Universe - Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel and Sersei in Eternals
