- He Really Can Act: For all of Ryan Reynolds' self-deprecating comments about the film, he's generally considered one of the best parts of it.
- Retroactive Recognition: Thomas Kalmaku was played by Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.
- So Okay It's Average: Cut through the dead memes about it and most response to the film boils down to this.
- What the Hell, Costuming Department?: Hal's infamously all-CGI super-suit. Superhero suits being partially CGI is well-accepted but the suit being all CGI was largely seen as stupid by most fans.
