A veteran seiyuu born in 1974. Hekiru Shiina is one of the three seiyuus, alongside Megumi Hayashibara and Mariko Kouda to initiate the third Seiyuu boom. An accomplished singer, this is what she mostly does these days, however, she had her share in voice acting, mostly remembered as the voice of Magic Knight Rayearth's Hikaru Shidou.
Recently also made a comeback as a recurring character in the third season of Hell Girl and later as Yuyuko Saigyouji in the fangame-lovechild of Touhou and Castlevania — Koumajou Densetsu.
