This is the characters page for all Power Rangers/Sentai characters, original or not, in the Play By Post game Henshin Heroes.

SPD

SPD (Special Police Dekaranger) are an interplanetary lawkeeping force that protect innocent lives from those who destroy planets or commit crimes throughout the galaxy. Sort of like an outer-space FBI/ United Nations group.

Reimon "Jasmine" Marika / Deka Yellow

• Psychic Powers
  • Aura Vision, is the most common because it's active all the time, but her gloves keep it in check. If she takes them off, she has psychometry abilities.

Hoji / Deka Blue

Professional former Tokkyou who went from DekaSky to DekaBlue. Played by Ren.

Sakura Mouri-Kudo / Deka Break

• Attempted Rape - An old teammate tries this, and fails, thanks to Bridge and Jasmine.
• Five-Man Band, Sakura fits the roll of The Chick best
• Les Yay - With Jasmine.
• Name's the Same - As Sakura of the Hathaway Foundation
• Space Police

Thoma Hirako / DekaFire

A conman turned Deka to find the person who killed his girlfriend, using his conman skills to catch criminals. Played by Ren.

• Expy - Of Neal Caffrey.
• Nice Hat - His trilby.

Dr. K / DekaSwan

As a member of the SPD, she has access to the Ranger suits, and works on designing new equipment and upgrades for its more active members. While she does this, she is doing her own research on the Ranger Keys. Has recently obtained her own license to become Dekaswan.

• Berserk Button - Do not call any Ranger suit spandex.
• Crazy Prepared / Crazy Awesome - She still has that fridge with the laser cannon in it. Her one personal request before joining SPD was that she could bring in said fridge.

Ziggy Grover / Ranger Operator Series Green

While he is not an official member of SPD yet, he still acts as the Ranger Operator Series Green who takes orders directly from Dr. K.

• Crazy Awesome - Used only the Tail Spinner and Croc Carrier to form the Valve Lefty Megazord, which is simply the ValveMax Megazord with only one arm. And it works!
• Plucky Comic Relief
• Relationship Upgrade - Confirmed by Word of God to have gone from Mentor Ship to Official Couple between the RP's version of RPM and the actual storyline.

Retsu Abe / Ranger Operator Series Gold

Princess Yui's bodyguard from another planet. He stole the Gold powers to better protect his Princess, and eventually joined with SPD. Played by Ren.

Princess Yui

A Princess from an unknown planet destroyed by the Zangyack, so she and her bodyguard, Retsu, fled to Earth, where Retsu stole the Gold powers, making them both part of SPD. Played by Ren.

The Gokaigers

A rather dysfunctional group of space pirates (no doubt because of the fact that three of the original members have new suits), the Gokaigers seek to defeat the Zangyack Empire and obtain the Greatest Treasure In The Universe. They have a bit of a rivalry with the Dekas.

Demetri Zet / Gokai Blue

Cocky and skillful, but lacking most personal interaction skills, Demetri is new to being a Gokaiger, only one because of Foundation X's meddling. He's played by Ren.

• Bare-Fisted Monk - As GekiBlue, his preferred form.
• Instant Expert - Subverted. While he has a grasp on how to fight as the other Rangers, he doesn't understand the Gokaiger powers at all.

Don "Hakase" Dogoier / Gokai Green

The first of the original Gokaigers to appear, Don has once again resumed his role as doctor and Butt Monkey, though he has grown up a lot since the original team had to separate. He is played by Sanyu.

• Butt Monkey - A carryover from his original series.
• Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass - Despite his general personality, Don can fight pretty well.
• Deadpan Snarker
• First-Person Smartass - Is slowly, but surely, becoming one of these.
• Last of His Kind - Subverted.
• Lovable Coward
• Reluctant Warrior
• The Smart Guy - Was able to easily understand the controls of a zord he's never piloted before.

Katherine Wright / Gokai Pink

• Deadpan Snarker
• Instant Expert. Averted hard. Unlike Demetri, she has no experience in fighting as a Ranger at all.
  • Plus, the first time she did fight as GokaiPink, she was drunk.

Luka Milfy / Gokai Yellow

A member of the original team of Gokaigers, a thieving woman, but one with a good heart. She's played by Rei.

• Big Damn Heroes - She does this twice:
  • The first time was when she joined in the battle against the Gormin with Don and the new Gokaigers.
  • The second was when she shot a few Grinders to stop them from attacking Marvelous.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Once lived a life of poverty while taking care of several young children, explaining her intense desire for riches.
• Deadpan Snarker
• Dead Little Sister - Hasn't been brought up yet, but it's another part of her Dark and Troubled Past
• Dual-Wielding: When she trades her GokaiGun for another crew member's GokaiSaber.
• Four-Temperament Ensemble: The Sanguine.
• Heartbroken Badass - Not shown as much as earlier threads, but it becomes more noticeable later on.
• Money, Dear Boy: Her raison d'etre.
• Ms. Vice Girl
• She Cleans Up Nicely - Marvelous's opinion on her after Luka washes up and dons her usual Gokaiger outfit for the very first time.
• Ship Tease - With Marvelous. Is just borderlining on becoming official.

Scott Allen / Gokai Silver

The smooth-talking Sixth Ranger of the team.

Joe Gibuken / Gokai Black

One of the original members of the Gokaiger team, an expert swordsman and former Zangyack elite. He lost his Mobirate and Ranger Keys to Foundation X, eventually gaining new powers and appearing as the enigmatic GokaiBlack. He's played by Ren.

• Dual-Wielding: When he trades his GokaiGun for another crew member's GokaiSaber.
  • Taken Up To Five when he uses everyone's GokaiSabers all at once.
  • Kaoru once gave him the Double Disc from the Shinkenger finale which allows him to dual wield Shinkenmaru.
• Four-Temperament Ensemble: The Choleric.
• Making a Splash: His Blue Slash finisher invokes the power of the five recent water-powered Blue Rangers.

Ahim de Famille / Gokai White

One of the original members of the Gokaiger team, a princess from a planet destroyed by the Zangyack, and the former GokaiPink. She eventually obtained a new Mobirate and Keys alongside Joe, becoming an enigmatic figure called GokaiWhite. She's played by Ren.

• Beware the Nice Ones: She may look sweet but puts up a hell of a fight in battle. She was also prepared to swindle her crewmates out of a large amount of money in order to help a guy who had attempted to kidnap her to pay off his debts.

The Fallen Rangers

The Fallen Rangers are church youth group joined with a group of Fallen Angels who protect Canada from the evils of Azrael and his angels. All are played by Darkblade.

Aka Red

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

Adam Park / Black Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger

Adam Park returns to service as the Black Power Ranger! He is the leader of the skilled Legend Rangers, which consists of Rangers from the past...? Future...? Who knows. The actual timeline of the PR/Sentai series is up for debate here. Is played by Sanyu.

• Actor Allusion - He is an accomplished musician, just like his face claim.

Trini Kwan / Yellow Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger

• Magnificent Bastard - Has shades of this.

Nicholas Burke / Green Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger

A fairly rich young man from a prestigious family, looking for good fights and good times. Ultimately one of Foundation X's many pawns. Played by Ren.

Hunt Squadron

Owen Trager / Hunt Squadron Silver

Leader of the Hunt Squadron, an adventurer who accidentally released the sealed evil when searching for Precious. He uses the prototype silver suit. Played by Ren.

Time Force/Silver Guardians

Dominick Night / Time Shadow Ranger

A man from the future sent back to assist in the flow of time. Primarily an assassin for Time Force, stopping those posing threats to the timeframe. Played by Ren.

• Actor Allusion - His salute is the same as Captain Jack Harkness's.
• Hey, It's That Guy! - Captain Jack Harkness, or rather, John Barrowman.

Other Rangers

Sanyu Miyazaki / Green Samurai Ranger

Not that one. The younger brother of Karazu Miyazaki and the polar opposite of her in terms of personality. He is able to transform into the Green Samurai Ranger. Is played by Sanyu.

• Ascended Fanboy
• BFG - His Lightning Riff Blaster in Blaster Mode. Considering how big it it compared to most blasters used by a single ranger, it counts.
• Brown Note - Can do this with his Samurai Saber in Microphone mode.
• Gender Bender - Was recently transformed into a girl by his sister.
  • While the First Law is in full effect, he subverts the second and averts the third. To wit, he acts and speaks the same way as always, but he is a lot more comfortable around females.
• Heartbroken Badass - He took the death of his first crush pretty hard, but he's still capable of kicking ass when he needs to. Of course, he doesn't know that she's still alive.
• Medium Awareness
• Spot of Tea - It seems to be a coping mechanism for him.
• The Power of Rock - Notable moments include the solo to Through The Fire And Flames.
• Weapons and Wielding Tropes
  • Katanas Are Just Better - His Samurai Saber in Sword Mode
  • Batter Up - His Samurai Saber in Bat Mode

Ai Soukichi / Big One

Current JAKQ field commander, and head of the ISSIS Tokyo Branch. She can transform into Big One, which she also inherited from her grandfather.

• Friendless Background - Mainly due to her Sugar and Ice Personality, prior to meeting Jasmine.
• Nice Hat - Identical to her grandfather's no less!
• Only Friend - Prior to defrosting Lisa, Jasmine served as this to Ai.

Pieter de Famille / Phantom Ranger

Ahim's older brother, thought to be dead, but survived by joining Zangyack. He defected the Zangyack when he obtained the Phantom Ranger powers, finally able to do as he wanted; join the Gokaigers and fight by their side with his collection of Ranger Keys. Played by Ren.

Celestial Rangers

Cal Clearwater / Celestic Blue

Leader of the Celestial Rangers, an intelligent man who thinks practically at all times. Played by Ren.

Liam Almsay / Celestic Green

Cal's friend and a less serious man, but a dedicated Ranger to the cause. Played by Ren.

Aaron Rodgers / Celestic Black

Cal and Liam's friend and Ranger fanboy. He's somehow less serious then Liam. Played by Sanyu.
