Hiromi Tsuru (1960-2017) was a voice actress and former child actress and model from Hokkaido who mostly voiced Shorttanks, Action Girls or Cool Big Sis. She was also known as Naomi Hunter in Metal Gear, so beware.
Started acting on TV as a child, then transitioned to voice acting as a teenager, debuting at 17 as the title character in The Story of Perrine. She was also married to Keiichi Nanba from 1986 to 1990. 1986 was also the year she began her longest-running and most iconic role, as Bulma in Dragon Ball, which she would continue for the next 31 years.
Sadly, Tsuru passed away in November 16, 2017 at the age of 57, due to an aortic dissection followed by a heart attack. It also happened when she was driving in Tokyo's Inner Circular Route, but she managed to park her car at one side of the road and turn on the lights before passing out and then away.
