Hyouryuu Kangoku Chronos

Chronos wanders in the space...In the Forest Belt, regarded as a taboo area, an operative ship named Chronos that went missing 80 years ago was discovered. 

Emina and her co-workers stepped into this ship to get some materials to fix their battleship without knowing what was awaiting them...

Hyouryuu Kangoku Chronos or Floating Prison Ship Chronos is a collaboration project between the hentai artist Butcha-U and Lilith-Soft, the creators Taimanin Asagi. The H-game takes heavy inspiration from Ridley Scott's Aliens. The story focuses on the crew of the Siva lead by Captain Emina. After a battle with an armada of space pirates lead by John Hawkins, the Siva sustained damage and Emina and her crew are forced to retreat into the Forest Belt, an asteroid field where travel is forbidden. The crew comes across the Chronos, a ship that disappeared many years ago. Realizing the Chronos may have the parts they need to repair the Siva, Emina and her crew venture into the seemly abandoned ship, unaware of the aliens that await them inside.

Hyouryuu Kangoku Chronos has examples of:

• An Axe to Grind: Battle axes are the standard melee weapons for the crew of the Siva.
• And I Must Scream: Any women absorbed into the alien queen "Mother", will be left completely immobilized inside the monster's flesh and are trapped as the alien uses them as Baby Factories. The worst part is that "Mother" is capable of taking care of its captives "basic needs". The alien will not let the women go until either "Mother" itself is killed or if all of the captured women are no longer capable of producing more aliens. In the case of the latter, the alien queen would then digest its captives alive.
  • This is arguably made worse during the "Pirate routes" where Manuela betrays her crew and is able to find a way to control the aliens, including "Mother". Now that there is a capable physician who has access to future technology constantly monitoring the health of the captives trapped in "Mother", Manuela will see to it that her human test subjects will remain as fertile breeding hosts for a very long time.
• Antagonistic Offspring: The aliens that female members of the Siva are forced to give birth to, especially the Adult and New Type aliens that are encountered during the second half of the games, as they are the "children" of the captured Claire, Soiree, and Silvia.
• Babies Ever After: Inverted. The main character, Captain Emina, has to actively avoid being impregnated by the aliens (and in one route a human) to get the game's Golden Ending. Any routes that results in Emina becoming pregnant will be given a Downer Ending.
• Baby Factory: The fate of any of the female crew member if they are captured by the aliens.
• Balloon Belly: Due to high amount of sperm the aliens produce, any H-scene with the aliens tends to ends with one of the heroines having a bloated belly from cum inflation.
• Beauty Is Never Tarnished: This is be expected for a Hentai. While the aliens will brutally kill or zombify any male humans they come across, they generally avoid causing injuries to a female human that would effect their physical appearance. Although this is somewhat justified as the aliens want them relatively unharmed to be used as Baby Factories. Also, none of the women are subjected to an outwardly Body Horror beyond having a bulging stomach from being impregnated and/or cum inflation. The only time with is subverted is during the "Lost Ones" ending.
• Big Bad: "Mother", the alien queen.
• Bittersweet Ending: The game's "Chronos Escape" ending is suppose to be the Golden Ending, but it is more bitter than sweet. Emina and John Hawkins were able to pull an Enemy Mine, successfully defeat "Mother" together, and rescue Clair, Soiree, and Silvia. John then performs a Heroic Sacrifice by activating his ship's self-destruct and destroying the Chronos along with himself and most of the aliens as the remaining survivors use an escape pod. However, Emina was forced to abandoned Manuela after she is captured by aliens, leaving her fate unknown. Emina herself admits that she can't feel happy about the victory since most of her crew has been killed off. To makes matters worse, Emina and her friends are left drifting in the Forest Belt with the only nearby ships belonging to pirates who might not be too happy about hearing their leader's death. Taking her chances, Emina actives a distress signal and decides to get some sleep, unaware of a mysterious presence that is on the escape pod with them. The End?
• Closed Circle: With the battleship Siva heavily damaged after an intense battle with Space Pirates, Emina and her crew are left stranded in the asteroid field, the Forest Belt. Since they are both in space and travel through the asteroid field is forbidden, Emina and her friends has absolutely no chance of being rescued by their allies in the Space Force. Their best hope is to find the parts they need to repair their ship by going aboard the Ghost Ship Chronos. Even when the Space Pirates shows up in the "alien route", most of them are wiped out by the aliens and thus they can't leave Chronos without more people to man their ship.
• Crippling Overspecialization: According to her bio, Soiree is the best pilot on Emina's crew, but her combat abilities outside of a space ship is roughly the same as an average soldier. Although in the actual game, Emina considers her the second best fighter among the crew.
• Dead Man Writing: After encountering the aliens, the crew of the Siva try to gather information about their new enemies by reviewing the encrypted data found in the computers aboard the Chronos. By reviewing the data, Emina and her allies discover what happen to the crew of the Chronos, how the aliens took over the ship, and the aliens' weakness to cold temperature. The final entry is a recording of Chronos's last human survivor who reveals details on the aliens' leader, whom the researchers refer to as "Mother". The last survivor request that any humans who finds her recording to prevent any aliens from escaping the ship by destroying the Chronos, and then commits suicide before the aliens can reach her.
• Downer Ending: {In 4 of 5 possible endings the player can get. Listing them off:
  • "Lost Ones" Ending: This ending is one of the 2 bad endings of the "alien route". During this route, Emina with a few human survivors realizes that they are near the engine room where "Mother" resides and decides to attack it in hopes that it's death would disorientate the remaining aliens. The humans battle the alien queen and were about to defeat it with a tank full of coolant that John Hawkins brought. However, a horde of New-Type aliens then shows up to protect their queen, killing all the humans except Emina who they capture and raped. Despite Emina's best attempts to escape the aliens, she is knocked out and awakes inside "Mother" with the other captured female human. Emina and the other women spend an entire week trapped inside "Mother" while being continuously impregnated and giving birth non-stop. Eventually, the women can no longer keep giving birth to new aliens due to the constant abuse of their wombs. "Mother" then digests Emina and the others alive. All the captive women can do is break down in mad laughter as they slowly melt away, never to be seen nor heard from again by another human.
  • "Emina Nursery" Ending: This is the alternate bad ending of the "alien route". During this route, Emina and John Hawkins were able to defeat "Mother" and recuse Claire, Silvia, and Soiree. The humans attempt to escape the Chronos using the pirate ship, but are ambushed by the surviving aliens. The aliens kill or zombify all of the male humans, including John. Emina is captured, raped, and impregnated by the zombies and aliens. As a result, Emina give birth to at least one Adult-type alien off-screen. Afterwards, Emina and the other female humans are brought back to the alien's nest to be used as Baby Factories by the remaining aliens. Emina is given to the still living remains of "Mother" as it impregnates her with a new alien queen before "Mother" truly dies, a process that drives Emina insane. Emina gives birth to the new alien queen that imprints on her. This routes ends with Emina deciding to pilot the Chronos to a populated area to cause an Alien Invasion so that she can provide new humans to her "baby".
  • "Sacrifices to Science" Ending: This ending is one of the 2 bad endings of the "pirate route". Manuela betrays the crew of the Siva to the pirates and discover a way to control the aliens after they capture "Mother". John forces Emina to have sex with him in exchange for the safety of her crew. If Emina shows too much resistance, John would determine that more drastic measures will be needed to breaks Emina, and allows Manuela to use Emina for her Super Breeding Program. Emina is impregnated with 2 Adult-Type aliens and is force to give birth to them in front of her captive crew. Afterwards, the pirate convert the Chronos into their new base and kill all the male members of the Siva crew. Emina, Claire, Silvia, and Soiree are given to Manuela to be used as her human test subjects for her cross breeding experiments. Manuela has the 4 women absorbed inside "Mother" and plans to have them "mass-produce" a new army of aliens to be used as Bioweapon Beasts. Emina, Claire, Silvia, and Soiree are eventually driven insane by the experiments, and will spend the rest of lives as Baby Factories with the Chronos acting as their floating prison.
  • "Space Force Whores" Ending: This is the alternate bad ending of the "pirate route". During this path, Emina remains submissive to John when he forces her to have sex with him. John takes a liking to Emina and decides to keep her around as his mistress, while Claire, Silvia, and Soiree are forced to serve as Sex Slaves for the pirates. The pirate still convert the Chronos into their new base and kill all the male members of the Siva crew. After several months, Manuela and the Hawkins pirates were able to take over the galaxy by using the aliens as Bioweapon Beasts. During that time, Emina became pregnant with John's child and the Chronos is turned into a brothel. At the end of this route, John becomes bored with slaves, and agrees to allow Manuela to use Emina, Claire, Silvia, and Soiree as test subjects for her cross breeding experiments with "Mother". This implies that Emina and the others would ultimately suffer the same fate as the "Sacrifices to Science" Ending.
• Dwindling Party: As the story progresses, the crew of the Siva are slowly picked off one-by-one by the aliens.
• Elite Mooks: The New-Type aliens, as they lack the other aliens' weakness to cold temperatures.
• Enemy Mine: In the "aliens route", Emina and her remaining crew members team up with John Hawkins and his pirates to fight off the aliens.
• Escape Pod: During the Chronos Escape ending, after it was determined that their was not enough humans to safe pilot the pirates' ship, Emina and remaining survivors determine that their best course of action is to use the escape pod. Ultimately, this is what allows Emina and others to leave the Chronos for good.
• "Everybody Laughs" Ending: The "Lost Ones" bad ending has a very, very dark take on this trope. The 5 heroines are left trapped inside "Mother" for over a week to serves as it's Baby Factories. Once the women can go longer keep giving birth to new aliens, "Mother" decides to get rid of them by digesting them alive. Emina and the others break down into mad laughter due to being forced to feel pleasure from the experience and at how undignified their deaths are. The one of the last things Emina hears before she melts away are the fading laughter of her friends...Yikes!
• Explosive Breeder: Any woman knocked up by an alien would give birth to a spawn in just a few hours, and since this aliens lack the Chest Burster trait, a single woman can make many aliens in a short amount of time.
• Expy: Plenty. Listing them off:
  • Emina Tristan roles and personality seem to be based off of Ellen Ripley. Although her physical appearance and space suit matches up with Prometheus's Meredith Vickers. Outside the Alien franchise, she is one to Samus Aran.
  • Soiree Serpent being both a female Ace Pilot and an Ice Queen make her one to Colette Ferro from Aliens. Although her design borrows from Yokoyama Miho from Butcha-U's own series "SDPO: Sexual Desire Processing Officer".
  • Silvia Carbay to Jenette Vasquez from Aliens, both being tomboyish Big Guy of their crew.
  • Claire Ballantine to Joan Marie Lambert from the first Alien movie, both being the navigators and The Chick of their crew. Design-wise she is based on Aoi from Butcha-U's Hooter parody manga.
  • Manuela Santo to Ash from the first Alien movie, both being science officers that join their respective crews very recently and view the aliens that they encounter as the Ultimate Lifeforms. Depending on the route the players takes, Manuela could potentially end up betraying her crew, just like Ash.
  • The aliens in this game are a pretty blatant one to the Xenomorphs. Type 1/Adolescents aliens are face huggers, type 2/Adults are drones, type 3/New-Types are newborns from Alien: Resurrection, and "Mother" is the queen. They also have some similarities to the Metroids and Necromorphs.
  • John Hawkins and his pirates to the Betty crew from Alien: Resurrection, with Hawkins himself based on Ron Pearlman's character, Johner. It terms of character design, he is a dead-ringer for Cowboy Bebop's Jet.
• Face Full of Alien Wingwong: It's Lilith-Soft attempt to create their own version of Aliens, so plenty of this.
• Fate Worse Than Death: All the characters view becoming an alien Baby Factory to be this, especially if they are unfortunate enough to end up inside of "Mother".
• Final Girl: Either Emina or Manuela can be this, as the last female characters to avoid becoming Baby Factories, depending on the player's choices.
• Five-Man Band: The crew of the Siva:

  • The Lancer: Soiree Serpent
  • The Big Girl: Silvia Carbay
  • The Smart Girl: Manuela Santo
  • The Chick: Claire Ballantine
• Friendly Rivalry: The women of the Siva occasionally like engage friendly competition with each over, usually it is to see who can take out the most space pirates, with Silvia and Soiree being the most competitive members. In one of the possible bad endings, even after being mind-broken by the aliens and forced to be Baby Factories, the women still continue to have friendly contests, although this time it is see who a can give birth to the biggest alien spawn.
• Ghost Ship: The titular, Chronos, a "seemly abandoned" space ship that went missing in an asteroid field 80 years ago.
• Golden Ending: The "Chronos Escape" ending is consider the game's only "good" outcome of the 5 possible endings of the game. It is the only ending where Emina is able to escape the Chronos and rescue most of her female friends.
• Heroic Sacrifice: Many of the female crew members of the Siva get captured by the aliens by trying to lead the aliens away from the rest of their comrades, namely Silvia and Soiree.
• Human Mom, Nonhuman Dad: The female crew members of the Siva are forced to be the "human moms" to their alien spawns if they are captured by the aliens.
• The Juggernaut: Many of the aliens are this, as they are immune to laser blasts and most physical attacks. The only way someone can damage these monsters is by exposing them to cold temperatures and then attack them.
• Kill Them All: During arguably the game's darkest route, the "Lost Ones" ending. At the end of this route, Emina and the surviving humans preforms a desperate attack against the leader of the aliens, "Mother". But things take a turn for the worse when the Type 3/New Type aliens started showing up to protect their queen. This resulted in all the humans being wiped out, expect for Emina, who is instead captured and raped by the aliens. Emina is then absorbed into the alien queen's body and is forced to be the alien's Baby Factory along with the previously captured female characters. Emina and her remaining crew members spend over a week continuously being impregnated and giving birth to new aliens non-stop. Eventually, Emina and her friend's wombs give out from the constant abuse to their bodies. After realizing that it's captives have gone sterile, "Mother" has Emina and the other women digested alive, resulting in every human character being killed off in this route.
• Latex Space Suit: Of course the space suits have to be skin tight, much like Taimanin Asagi's ninja suits.
• Mad Scientist: Manuela Santo after her Face Heel Turn.
• Mars Needs Women: Well this is a Hentai, so course the aliens in this game need human women to reproduce.
• Multiple Endings: Like with all Lilith-Soft games, this game has multiple endings. Depending on the player's choices, they can either get a Golden Ending or one of the four bad endings. The events of the game will remain mostly the same up until Manuela separates from the group during an alien ambush and Silva is captured by Adult-type aliens. The game would then split into either one of two routes, the "alien route" or the "pirate route".
  • During the "pirate route", Soiree is captured by Adolescent-type aliens. Manuela will discover the existence of "Mother" and run into the Hawkins Pirates before Emina. Manuela will undergo a Face Heel Turn and teams up with the pirates to capture "Mother". Afterwards, Manuela will discover a way to control the aliens and would help the pirates capture the surviving members of the Siva crew. Depending on chooses the players make after the halfway point, they would either get the "Sacrifices to Science" or "Space Force Whores" ending.
  • During the "alien route", Soiree is captured by an Adult-Type alien and brought to the leader of the aliens, "Mother", to be absorbed. Manuela will reunite with Emina and reveal the aliens' weakness to cold temperatures. The group would then run-in into the Hawkins Pirate and the two factions agree to team-up to defeat the aliens. The humans decides to split into two parties, Emina will lead one group to the bridge to turn down the temperature within Chronos and create cold-based weapons to fight the aliens, while John and Manuela leads the other group to retrieve the remaining crew members still abroad the Siva. Emina succeed in lowering the temperature and finds Chronos's final log that reveals the existence of "Mother". Meanwhile, "Mother" impregnates the captured Clair, Silva, and Soiree, and forces them to give birth to New-Type aliens that are immune to the cold. John and Manuela discover that the humans aboard the Siva were killed off by the aliens and are then ambushed by a New-Type alien. The alien kills nearly all of the second party, captures Manuela, and leaves John unconscious. Emina's group would discover the aftermath of the New-Type alien's attack and are forced to abandoned the captured Manuela when they discover that the New-Type alien is immune to their cold-based weaponry. Afterwards, Emina will realize that they are near the engine room where "Mother" resides and decides to attack it in hopes that it's death would disorientate the remaining aliens. The story would then lead into the "Lost Ones", "Emina Nursery" or "Chronos Escape" ending depending on what choices the player have made during the second half of the game.
• Naughty Tentacles: Provided by the New-Type aliens and the alien queen, "Mother".
• Our Zombies Are Different: Adolescents aliens (face huggers) can attach themselves to the back of the heads of human males and control them, in a similar manner to headcrabs from Half-Life.
• Perpetual Motion Machine: The Chonos itself seems to be this. Somehow, the ship has remained functional years after all the human crew was wiped out and the vessel became infected with aliens.
• Phenotype Stereotype: Emina and Soiree.
• Porn with Plot: The story is told like an Science Fiction Action Horror game. But being a Hentai, the scenes of human women being impregnated and giving birth is a lot less graphic that you would expect from this genre.
• Recycled in Space: Like Taimanin Asagi, this game is about attractive women in skin-tight catsuits fighting human criminals and hideously monsters that want to violate them, but IN SPACE!.
• Red Shirt: The male crew members of the Siva are just faceless soldiers that are only there to be killed off by the aliens. Nearly all of the male crew member of the Siva are wiped out and/or turn into zombies in every ending of the game.
• Sacrificial Lamb: Claire is the weakest member of the Siva crew, so naturally she is the first member of the crew to be impregnated by the aliens and then used as breeding stock.
• Sacrificial Lion: Soiree and Silvia are Emina's two best soldiers, but they ultimately end being captured and impregnated by the aliens just before the game's final act.
• Sequel Hook: In the "Chronos Escape" Ending, Emina, Clair, Soiree, Silvia and a few others were able to leave the Chronos using an escape pod before the titular ship blows up. Emina decides to take a nap after her restless adventure and activating the escape pod's distress signal. As she and presumably the rest of survivors take a moment to rest, a mysterious entity can be heard walking inside of the escape pod. The fates of the survivors are left unknown at that point.
• Space Marine: Emina and the crew of the Siva.
• Space Pirates: John Hawkins and his crew.
• Ugly Guy's Hot Daughter: Inverted, many of the female crew members of the Siva end up becoming "Hot Moms" to their hideous alien spawns.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Near the end of the game its revealed the lustful aliens are weak to cold temperatures.
