- Captain America managed to get Deadpool to shut up in the Green Lantern vs. Captain America video. Shooting Deadpool doesn't shut him up.
- Lex Luthor and Superman both get one as Lex tries to seduce Superman to join his scheme to destroy the Marvel Universe and Superman offers the perfect rebuttal.
Superman: What could possibly make you think I would help you destroy an entire universe? |
- Superman dies and ascends to Fluffy Cloud Heaven. There he meets the spirit of Captain America, who gives him inspiration to come back and make the difference to stop Luthor.
- Supes' speech to Luthor at the climax of After Hours #7, right before he breaks the temporal device that should doom them both to eternity in the pocket space.
- Most of the heroes are brainwashed to become parodies of the edgy, dark age popularized characters and are about to torture the Green Goblin and Spider-Man. The Goblin proceeds to wipe the floor with all of them. Too bad it was all in his head.
- Heck, almost anything Goblin does in this series belongs either here or Crowning Moment of Funny, but his smackdown to Lex at the end of the first installment surely belongs here if nothing else does:
Lex: Say goodbye to the world you know! From this moment on, you are all at the mercy of Lex Luthor, the greatest criminal mind of our-- |
- Dafoe, Dafoe, Dafoe.
- Batman demonstrating once again why the Batman Gambit is named after him, managing to use the events of One More Day to his advantage even though he can't remember them.
- Batman chewing out Spider-Man for wanting to imitate him and Spider-Man saying it just glorified him.
- Batman coming to the rescue of Spidey and Green Goblin at the end of Happy Hour #2 with the BTAS Batman theme playing. Awesome!
Brainwashed!Superman: "I'll say this for you Spiderman. You never give up. I like that." |
- During the events of Happy Hour (where the heroes have their perception of reality altered by the Joker so as to make them more like Batman), Spiderman is unaffected (due to the events of One More Day, meaning his mind has already been altered), despite Joker's best attempts. After Joker at one point tells Spiderman how he's an idiot who doesn't know when to give up, Spiderman gives the following reply of awesome:
Spiderman: Maybe I don't know when I've been beaten, but maybe that's why you can't beat me. You've been trying, haven't you? You tried to make me think all my loved ones were killed in order to make me some darker version of myself. Well guess what? My mother is dead, my father is dead, my uncle was shot- even my girlfriend was murdered- |
- At the end of Happy Hour, Batman (and Superman, through Batman telling him) know what happened during the events of One More Day (while Spiderman, in this portrayal, doesn't remember). Batman and Superman end up in a mild argument about whether or not they should tell Spiderman. Batman finishes their talk, and the 'event', with the following:
Superman: It isn't right- |
- Zero Hour #3. Just... watch.
