Ikusa Otome Valkyrie US cover

Richard Wagner's less known work

Ikusa Otome Valkyrie (released in the West under the title of Ride of the Valkyrie) is a series of fantasy H-games and OVAs which began in 2004.

The battle maiden Valkyries were soldiers of justice who tore through swaths of demons in the great wars for the defense of Midgard. Or, at least, they did, until one of them was betrayed by her own mistress Freya. Without her ring and her weapons, the proud Valkyrie is reduced to being the sex slave of the demons she once fought, and the others too risk to fall in the same situation soon enough.

The game series, produced by Lune, consists of four titles:

  • Ikusa Otome Valkyrie (2004)
  • Ikusa Otome Valkyrie 2 (2008)
  • Ikusa Otome Valkyrie G (2009)
  • Ikusa Otome Valkyrie 3 (2019)

The anime consist of four series, which are adaptation of the namesake games:

  • Ikusa Otome Valkyrie Shinshou (2006), again made by Amour, is an alternate retelling of the previous series;
