A Hentai that follows the adventures of Mikoto Shiratori the Demon Hunter and her friends (Warning: Series includes high octane Squick content).
A series of X-rated visual novels released by Tinkerbell, featuring art and character designs by Aojiru.
The plot of the first game (simply titled Inyouchuu, released in 2005) centers around Yamato Tachibana and Mikoto Shiratori, two part-time Demon Hunters who are assigned to go to a school and rescue Mikoto's sister Takeru, a co-worker who disappeared while on assignment at the school. After meeting Sui Kayama, an old friend of Yamato's, they exorcise the demons haunting the school.
The second game (Inyouchuu Shoku, 2006) has Mikoto, Takeru, and the newly recruited Sui go to a resort island to investigate a series of disappearances. They discover that the island's owner was tricked into helping a demon gather powerful Demon Hunters to the island so that he could steal their powers and increase his strength.
The third game (Inyouchuu Etsu, 2009) centers around events in Mikoto and Takeru's hometown, where they and Yamato must uncover the secrets surrounding the town chief and Azumi, a demon with connections to Yamato's past.
A fourth game was create in 2015 titled Inyouchuu Kyou.
A fifth game titled Inyouchuu Goku was released in 2016.
An updated, uncensored version of the first game, re-titled Inyouchu: Insects of Insemination, was released for English-speaking audiences in 2022.
All games are rather extreme, so discretion is very much advised. The first three games have two episode OVA series based on them. There are also several tie-in light novels and manga of varying length that cover both the material in the games and original content.
- Absurdly Youthful Mother: Both Hatsune Shiratori and Kyouko Kokonoe can easily pass off as sisters to their teenage/young adult daughters.
- Action Girl: Most of the heroines apply to this trope, although Mikoto is the most prominent example.
- Adapted Out: Yamato was removed from the anime adaptation of Shoku, so only the girls, Mikoto, Takeru, and Sui ventured to the island in the OVA.
- Alternate Continuity: Its best to think of each OVA adaptation as there own Alternate Timeline, as things tend to Snap Back in each sequel, and the heroes don't talk about their previous adventures.
- Baby Factory: Many of the heroines can suffer this fate in the Downer Endings. However, the babies they give birth to aren't exactly human.
- Baby Ever After: Played with, for most of the visual novels, as the "babies" that the heroines give birth in the Downer Endings are the result of Face Full of Alien Wingwong. However, this is possibly played straight in Goku, depending on the ending.
- Beach Episode: Shoku as a whole is this to the series, as the main setting of the second game is a tropical island.
- Bifauxnen: Takeru's character design in the first two games.
- Big Bad: Each game/OVA has their own unique antagonist:
- The unicorn demon Nightmare is the main villain of the first game/ova.
- The ancient oni Meioh serves as the main antagonist of Shoku.
- Azumi serves as the villain in Etsu.
- Black Bra And Panties: Takeru wears black lingerie (and a rather daring swimsuit), but this seems more to highlight her status as the single most mature good human in the cast for the first two games.
- Betty and Veronica: Sui is Betty and Mikoto is Veronica to Yamato's Archie.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: The demon bugs in Shoku, which include large worms, slugs, and larva.
- Boobs Of Steel: Zig-zagged. Mikoto uses a sword and has an impressive bust, flatter Takeru primarily uses an ofuda, while Sui is a Squishy Wizard in more ways than one.
- Cash Cow Franchise: One of Tinkerbell's biggest money makers. The franchise includes the original visual novel, 4 sequels, 3 animated OVA adaptations, and a couple official manga adaptation.
- Chick Magnet: Yamato, as most of the heroines want him.
- Defiled Forever: Makoto feels this way in most adaptations when her virginity is stolen by tentacles and demons rather than giving it to the one she loves, namely Yamato. Sui also to a lesser extent.
- Demon Slaying: The main job of all the major protagonists.
- Different As Night And Day: The Shiratori twins. Mikoto is headstrong, reckless, and easy to anger. Takeru is calm and analytical.
- Dirty Old Man: Yoru, a cat spirit and Mikoto, Takeru, and Yamato's boss, gets this characterization.
- Discontinuity: The OVAs to each other. Also, none of them are canon to the visual novel.
- Downer Ending: The OVAs and the manga feature the girls being enslaved by the Big Bad.
- Express Delivery: A human woman that is impregnated by a demon will give birth in just a matter of hours.
- Face Full of Alien Wingwong: Happens in a number of the bad endings for all the games, and is intentionally used in the third game.
- Gag Boobs: Sui is the most prominent example, but many other characters are impressively endowed as well. There's also a darker example in many bad endings, where the heroines' breasts are inflated to such a size they can no longer stand up. All the better for their new role as broodmares to their demon masters.
- Gender Blender Name: Mikoto is a unisex name, while Takeru tends to be a masculine name.
- Go-Go Enslavement: Happens to Mikoto in one of the manga. A brainwashed Takeru forces her to wear skimpy black lingerie and a collar for her upcoming rape by Nightmare.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Yamato is part demon.
- Happiness in Slavery: In the OVAs and mangas. Not as first but usually after endless rape and sexual torture by the demons and tentacles, the heroines become so mentally and sexually broken by that they become willing and eager Sex Slaves. Although in some cases it may or may not be Mind Manipulation/control on the demons' part.
- The Hero Dies: Inyouchuu first OVA series ends with Yamato being killed by Nightmare, as Mikoto and Sui become the demon's slaves. Although that Downer Ending is non-canon to the visual series and things Snap Back in the sequel OVA.
- Hot Mom: Hatsune Shiratori, Mikoto and Takeru's mother. Goku introduces Kyouko Kokonoe, the mother to Rinko Kokonoe, one the support characters from Kyou.
- Lighter and Softer: The anime OVA are actually much tamer than visual novels or the manga adaptation, which says more about the original games than the anime.
- Love Triangle: Mikoto and Sui are both in love with Yamato who has feeling for both of them. Despite Mikoto being Tsundere towards Yamato and Sui being shy, both girls secretly dream of losing their virginity to him.
- Made a Slave: The fate of the main heroines in the bad endings.
- Mars Needs Women: The demons throughout the series, although especially mention goes to the in-human insect demons.
- Merlin Sickness: Happens to Takeru courtesy of Meiouki in one of the manges.
- Ms. Fanservice: All the female characters are young, beautiful, and busty, hence the ideal prey for tentacles and demons.
- Multiple Endings: Many Bad Ends in all the games, but each game does have a canon Golden Ending.
- Naughty Tentacles: Plenty of this.
- No Canon for The Wicked: Shoku assumes the player got one of the good ends for the first game, while Etsu assumes the player got the best ending for Shoku. In addition, Kyou assumes player got the good ending for Etsu, and the sequel, Goku, seems to be a continuation of the good ending of Kyou. The OVAs are discontinuous and depict bad endings.
- Oni: The demon Meioh.
- Only Sane Woman: In the first two games, Takeru seems to be the only good human with her head screwed on straight.
- O-Ring Orifice: Some of those demons have very big tentacles and/or dicks, and they won't hesitate to plunge them into the girls.
- Out with a Bang: In one of the routes of Etsu, a demonified Yamato rapes and kills several unnamed female exorcists that were trying to stop him.
- Patient Childhood Love Interest: Sui to Yamato.
- Potty Emergency: Early in Shoku, Sui needs to use the bathroom, but the line is very long. The player is given the choice to either stay in line or go by some out of the way rocks.
- Red Headed Heroine: Mikoto. Takeru also counts even though her hair is more of an orange color. There is also Anyori from Goku.
- Sex Slave: Happens to the heroines in most bad endings.
- Shameful Strip: Most often but not always by the tentacles.
- Snap Back: In the OVA series. Even though all the OVA series end on a Downer Ending, everything returns to normal in the next sequel.
- Squishy Wizard: Sui, in more ways than one.
- Stripperiffic: Anyori and Kyouko's casual outfits reveal a lot of skin.
- Tsundere: Mikoto (Type 1).
- Twincest: Main characters Mikotu and Takeru are twin sisters, even if they don't look much alike, and many of the games' bad endings have them molesting each other due to being mind-controlled or broken by the Big Bad. Likewise, Ouka and Kikuka can fall victim to this same fate in the games that feature them. This happens in the manga as well.
- In the Shoku OAVs', a hypnotized Takeru ends up inseminating her twin sister with a demon-created dick in the first episode. A mind-broken Mikoto returns the favor in the second episode by violating Takeru with her demon spawn.
- The bonus episode has Ouka and Kikuka intensely making out and making love before being double raped by Meiouki. Whether this is just the result of them being thoroughly broken mentally and sexually by him or if they've always had innate feelings/lust for each other is a good question (perhaps a bit of both?).
- Who Wants To Live Forever: Ouka and Kikuka in Shoku. The two of them have been cursed with agelessness and immortality by Meiouki after he raped and devoured their mother, and are pursuing him to have the curse broken. In the bad endings they remain immortal and ageless and are kept as sex/breeding slaves by him for eternity.
