The 2016-2017 Kamen Rider series and the eighteenth entry in the franchise's Heisei era. It is the twenty-seventh series overall.
Ever since the Bugster's rise 5 years before, several people have been infected with this computer-originating disease and died. The only hopes left for humanity are experienced doctors, who receive a Gamer Driver, and game cartridge-like devices called "Gashats" in order to combat the virus. However, they fear that the creator of this virus may be up to something more than a mass eradication.
