- While most of the show really comprises of Moe Schoolgirl Lesbians and mechas, there's one scene in Episode 8 that either horrifies viewers or turns them on. It's the scene where Chikane actually rapes Himeko, making her look like a Complete Monster. Of course, as the series went on, you found out her reasoning, but still.
- In Episode 10, the pasts of the Orochi members are revealed. And HOLY HELL, some of them are horrible - one gets to find out that Girochi lost his parents in an unnamed war, Miyako lost her Church in the same conflict (and maybe her parents, if she is Girochi's older sister), Nekoko was horribly experimented on for being a Cat Girl, Corona was either forced into prostitution or straight-up raped in her Idol Singer days, and Tsubasa has to beat his own father to death to save himself and Souma from his abuse...
