Kenji Hamada is a seiyu, although, worked for some years since 1998, only gained notice at fandom when he played the Butt Monkey Patrick Colasour of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and probably as Killer in One Piece. It's not that case, but it seems that people outside Japan knew him for the first time.
