Kia Asamiya is a Japanese animator-turned Mangaka. Most notably, he was on the animation staff for Inspector Gadget.
As a mangaka, his most well-known series include Silent Möbius, Steam Detectives, Complier, and Corrector Yui. He also drew the manga adaptation of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
