The Genderflipped version of Likes Older Women . This female character, usually an older teenage girl or a young adult, is open about her romantic/sexual preferences being set on men who are over her age range. The lady's reasons can be varied but usually can be narrowed down to either thinking men her age or younger are immature boys, or simply having a type.

The trope was more or less based on how, in older times, marriages among higher members of society often involved a younger woman and an older man whose economic livelihood was secured. (While naturally, poorer men and women didn't follow the "rule"). Nowadays, a match up between an older dude and a younger dude tend to be viewed as... politely put, weird. In recent times, however, Queer Media has relied on the trope as well.

Anime and Manga

• 14-year-old Asuna Kagurazaka from Mahou Sensei Negima begins the series with a crush on her teacher Takamichi, is also fascinated with her roommate Konoka's dad Eishun, and is teased about her type by her best friend Ayaka (who gives her the Punnylicious Embarrassing Nickname "ojicon"). Subverted: she's quite Older Than They Look but doesn't remember it due to Trauma-Induced Amnesia.
• Natsumi Tsujimoto from You're Under Arrest is infamous for crushing on older men, like the Captain of Bokuto Station and Detective Tokuno. The guy she actually falls for, though, is Tokairin... who is younger than she is.
• Ryouko Takeuchi from Blue Seed, Number Two to The Leader Daitetsu Kunikida, has strong feelings for him. He isn't too convinced when she confesses to him, but they ultimately get together.
• Nicoletta from Ristorante Paradiso is a 21 year old waitress who falls in love with her co-worker Claudio, who's not only divorced but is in his 40's.

Film

• In Grease, Marty Maraschino (at most 17) has had flings with guys form the US marines and seems to crush on the much older Vince Fontaine.

Video Games

• Fire Emblem:
  • Fire Emblem Awakening: Lissa is 14 at the start, and Maribelle is around the same age. Both girls can potentially hook up with dudes older than them.
    • If a Female Avatar is styled as being young-looking enough, she'll play the trope straight as well. If the Love Interest is old enough, like Gregor and Walhart, she may not even need the younger looks.
  • Fire Emblem Fates: young girls like Mozu, Sakura or Elise can potentially marry men in higher age ranges. Same goes to a Female Avatar with younger looks, which again she may not need if she marries either Yukimura (in his 30's/40's), Shura (ditto) or Gunter (her Parental Substitute, in at least his 50's)
  • The White Magician Girl Genny from Fire Emblem Gaiden was implied to be this in the novels, and the remake Echoes confirms it via a village talk with Celica (quoted above), where she says she'd like an older romantic partner who'd be able to take good care of her.
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses: Any woman who marries Hannemann (in his 50's) or Seteth (implied to be in his 40's and already raising his teenaged sister but is actually Really Seven Hundred Years Old). This certainly includes the Female Avatar (implied to be in her very early 20's).

Visual Novels

• If the Main Character from True Love Junai Monogatari hooks up with Arisa Miyoshi, this trope takes place.
