Lite Sprites, Lite Sprites, turn on the magic of colored lights

A line of toys that debuted in 2011 and spawned an animated special that aired on The Hub. The Lite Sprites bring color and light to the world of Lite-Topia, except for Bleak, the rebel sprite who steals color.

• Cultural Rebel - While the other Lite Sprites use their powers to make things colorful, Bleak instead uses her powers to erase color. Her toy can, too, and is the only one with this ability.
• Curtains Match the Window - Averted by Astra and Prisma, played straight by Meadow, Brooke, and Bleak.

• Hair Decorations - All of the Sprites have something in their hair. Prisma has a crown-like flower, Astra has blue scrunchies, Meadow has a headband with a little flower, Bleak has leaves tucked into her hair like a mantilla, and Brooke has (very hard to spot) hair elastics in the shape of flowers.

• Informed Attribute - Lite-Topia was not very colorful before the girls got their light wands, but it looks like no one told the animators, as shots of Lite-Topia before and after are exactly the same.

• Multicolored Hair - All the sprites have white hair with colored streaks. Bleak's however, are gray.
• Odd Name Out - Bleak, when compared to names like Brooke, Meadow, Prisma and Astra.
• Painting the Frost on Windows- Each of the sprites is responsible for bringing color to a particular part of Lite-Topia, except for Prisma, who is in charge of color in general, and Bleak, who steals color.
• Rashomon Style - Meadow and Bleak have different accounts of how successful Meadow's joke was.
• Rose-Haired Girl - Prisma
• Slumber Party - The sprites hold one to keep Astra awake.
• Tomboy - Brooke
• Unreliable Expositor - During a flashback, Meadow claims a joke she told caused everyone else to laugh uproariously. In Bleak's version of the story, the same joke fell totally flat.
