Describe Mamoru Miyano here.
Roger, commencing description.
Tall, handsome, gentleman. Ok, maybe the last one was an exaggeration. But, in an industry not known for having men with killer looks, this lad is one of them. His vocal range is impressive, going from a clueless sailor who was caught up in the war between Exorcists and Akuma (as Chaozii), to the Magnificent Bastard known as Light Yagami in Death Note, to the Idiot Hero Bishounen Tamaki of Ouran High School Host Club. Before becoming a seiyu he was a musical stage actor, having performed in The Prince of Tennis musicals as Fudomine player Tetsu Ishida. His very first voice acting role was Riku of Kingdom Hearts, and his career just kept going from there; in fact, as of 2024 he's playing none other than Dio fuckin' Brando in the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood musical that will begin in February 2024.
He's known to work alongside Maaya Sakamoto as well. Some fans shipped them, but he married a lady who's outside the industry and she herself married their fellow seiyuu Kenichi Suzumura.
In December 2008, he announced that he was to be married and his then fiancée was pregnant (a big deal for him, since health problems were this close to rendering poor Miyano sterile). This produced a nerd rage by his rabid Fangirls which was a sight to behold. Only the Japanese fangirls, however; the American ones congratulated him several times over. And when the American fans found out about the Japanese wankage... boy, were they pissed. Still, it eventually died down and they remained married until 2023.
