  • Awesome Moments: In Anchorage, Alaska for the "Kodiak Arrest" challenge. 7 lbs. worth of food, including dessert. Adam became the first person ever to finish the challenge and technically did it in just over half an hour. Out of an initial 90-minute time limit, he spent the first 15 doing nothing but break open 3 lbs. of crab legs, and he finished the entire meal with about 43 minutes to spare.
  • Funny Moments: From the "Stupid Wings" Challenge, Adam: (When pointing to the chef who is preparing said wings after he just added pure capsaicin extract to an already hotter than hell wing recipe) "You're a dick."
    • "Where's the deep-fried insulin?"
    • When watching spicy sushi rolls being prepared with the seeds of tiny red Chinese peppers:

  • Heartwarming Moments: In "Hartford, Conn's" "Randy's Stuffed Pizza Challenge"; when Adam started to falter on his half of the challenge, his challenge partner, Greg "The Great Moomsie" Molumi, stepped in and helped Adam polish off the renaming pizza crusts (after having finished his five pound portion of stuffed pizza). They completed the challenge with one second to go.
  • Squick: Watching Adam get the "meat sweats" from too much hamburger, or watching him suffer though one of the 'spicy challenges' has made some viewers avert their eyes from the screen
    • Watching competitive eater Joey Chestnut crush the 18-inch long, five-pound "Burritozilla" in just over three minutes in the San Jose episode counts as this or a Crowning Moment of Awesome depending on your tolerance for watching enormous amounts of food get mashed in extremely short periods of time.
