Markus (real name: Jörg Mark-Ingraban von Morgen) is a German cartoonist (political and otherwise). He's been making cartoons (almost always black/white) since 1951, since 1965 exclusively for the stern (weekly magazine from Hamburg). Most of them are a single big picture, but sometimes he made real strips with around nine panels.
His originals are archived in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg.
He also wrote an autobiography, Mein Leben unter braunen Clowns (My life among brown clowns), about his youth in Nazi Germany, even as an underaged soldier towards the end of World War Two.
