- To elaborate, when a gang of murderous pirates break into her inn, she proceeds to deliver a ferocious Curb Stomp Battle. When the fight is taken outside her inn, she tells Jim, Gonzo and Rizzo to get out of there while she holds them off. Granted, she's battling Muppets less than half her size, but in context it's just plain awesome.
- At the climax, Long John is holding Bejamina at gunpoint, and Kermit dramatically comes to her rescue.
- Mrs. Bluberidge holding off the pirates so Jim can escape.
- The Villain Song "Shiver My Timbers".
- To clarify, the opening of a goddamn Muppet movie includes a crew of pirates being gunned down by their captain, while the wildlife sings about the bloodthirst, greed and savagery of pirates.

- It is a pirate song. A Crowd Song. Sung by none other than Tim Curry. It is just a blast.
- The Squire (Fozzie) being saved by... the little man who lives in his finger.
- After Kermit's sword goes flying, and Jim and the whole gang come to his rescue, including Rizzo! And they all look rather dashing to boot!
- ...... Kermit can FRIGGIN' FIGHT WITH A SWORD! When did he practice that?!

- Long John Silver taking about half a minute to intimidate his mutinous crew into letting him be their leader again, while tied to a tree.
