  • Dork Age: The 24/7 channel had a brief, minor one when the NickMom block was introduced in 2012. A lot of parents criticized this, pointing out that launching a block aimed towards adults on a channel aimed at preschoolers was a bad move on Viacom's part. Luckily though, the block eventually went defunct in 2015.
  • Fan Dumb: Those who are calling for a boycott of the 24/7 network due to their decision to discontinue the use of the mascots Moose A. Moose and Zee. The two had been with the network for a long time and were popular, so it's not unreasonable to a feel a bit upset about their loss, but the idea of a boycott is just silly. A network ultimately stands or falls on whether or not it's able to drive viewers to its programming, not what mascots it uses. Furthermore, while the network is surely aware it has a Periphery Demographic, periphery demographics are generally sadly mistaken if they think they can determine the fate of a network.
