Main Characters And Their Allies[]
Cadis Etrama Di "Rai" Raizel[]
Cadis Etrama Di Raizel (Kor. 카디스 에트라마 디 라이제르), or simply Raizel, is the titular protagonist of the Noblesse Manhwa series. He is a Noble from Lukedonia who holds the special title of Noblesse, which distinguishes him from all other Nobles as their hidden protector, their judge, and if necessary, executioner. He is Frankenstein's Master and currently attends Ye Ran High School in order to learn more about the modern human world.
- The Aloner: Especially in the past.
- Authority Equals Asskicking: Somewhat subverted. He is revealed to be the one true Noblesse, who is the most powerful Noble in existence and the avatar of Strength but explicitly does not hold any authority. The lord is the avatar of Authority..

- King Incognito: Pretty much the definition of Rai. His title, the Noblesse, signifies him as the Noble race's avatar of Strength, but it requires him to work in secret; none of the newly-promoted clan leaders even know who he is. He's sort of like a secret Assassin King that erases all of the Noble race's problems. It can get pretty humorous when every single villain chooses to ignore or overlook him in favor of weaker characters. And the ones who eventually realize how powerful he is tend not to live very long.
- Limited Wardrobe: His wardrobe consists of only school uniforms, and he still takes ages to choose what he wants to wear!
- School Uniforms Are the New Black: Seems to have embraced this trope completely.
- Magnetic Hero: Makes sense, considering how freaking good looking, and amazingly strong he is. Who wouldn't want to be his friend?

- Nigh Invulnerable: It doesn't matter whether you can punch out walls, buildings, or even Cthulhu; he will casually block your punch.
- No Sense of Direction: Played for Laughs pretty often.
- Oh Crap: Induces this reaction from EVERYONE — especially enemies right before they die.

- Red Eyes, Take Warning: And yet no one seems to think that he's anyone dangerous or important.
- The Quiet One: He has as much lines as minor, throwaway villains, despite being the protagonist. Frank almost becomes Voice for The Voiceless because of this.
- Showy Invincible Hero
- Not So Invincible After All: After using the Blood Field for the second time against Crance, he coughs up some blood, which SERIOUSLY disturbs Frank. And when he drops his cup of tea, Frank becomes worried that Rai has weakened himself too much by releasing his seal back in Lukedonia.
- Signature Move: Rai keeps to a strict schedule of sitting around and drinking tea for 95% of his day. He is never seen without his tea cup in his hand, quietly listening to everything that is happening... until he has something to say. Then there is the signature *click* of his tea cup hitting the saucer, and Words of Wisdom from The Ages flow forth from his mouth.
- He also likes to look out of a window, a habit he's had for as long as he has lived.
- A Spot of Tea: Seen drinking tea whenever he's not busy fighting (...or eating ramen).

- What Do You Mean It's Not Awesome?: Every single mundane task that he manages to do.
- Why Did It Have To Be Doors?: For the longest time, Rai had trouble with opening Frankenstein's apartment door. (In fact, during the big battle of an entire story arc, it repeatedly cut to him trying to open the door with no success, and even ended with him breaking Frankenstein's window. He still didn't manage to get out.) He has since conquered this in a Crowning Moment of Awesome. Unfortunately, he now has to confront automatic doors...
Frankenstein[]
Frankenstein (Kor. 프랑켄슈타인) is the deuteragonist of the series. He is Raizel's devoted servant and has loyally served him for over 820 years. He is a brilliant scientist, whose abandoned research notes helped to bring the Union's scientific knowledge and technology to the advanced level it has reached in the series. Frankenstein is also the founder and current principal of Ye Ran High School, where he is known to all as the Principal. He is now the latest addition to the RK-5 bearing the title of “Number 0”.

M-21[]
M-21 is a modified human. He was unwillingly experimented upon by Dr. Crombel and the Union, leaving him with no memories of his previous life. He was originally thought to be a failed experiment until his latent powers were awakened by Raizel. He currently serves as a security officer at Ye Ran High School and is a member of the group known as RK.

Han Shinwoo[]
Han Shinwoo (Kor. 한신우) is a human and one of the supporting characters of the series. He is a student of Ye Ran High School and the first person to befriend Raizel after he wakes up from his 820-year slumber. He is also an incredibly skilled martial artist and Ik-Han's best friend.

Woo Ik-Han[]
Woo Ik-Han (Kor. 우익한) is an ordinary human and one of the supporting characters of the series. He is a student at Ye Ran High School and Shinwoo's best friend. He is also a close friend of Frankenstein's household, where he usually hangs out with the rest of his friends. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to technology and hacking.

- The Napoleon: On the same level as Regis. He even mentions to Regis that he feels a closeness to him due to the fact that only Regis is short like him. Regis doesn't react very happily to this.
Tao[]
Tao (Kor. 타오) is a Modified Human and a foil character of the series. He is an ex-member of DA-5 like Takeo. He switched allegiances, joining up with Raizel and Frankenstein after finding out that the DA-5 group was actually created for Kranz to absorb their powers. He also convinces Takeo to leave the Union after telling him the truth. He currently works as a security official at Ye Ran High School. He is also the leader and founder of the RK-5: "No.1".

Takeo[]
Takeo (Kor. 타키오) is a Modified Human and the series's stock character. He is an ex-member of the DA-5, which was a special forces team of the Union. Unlike the others, he was tricked into working for the Union by Dr. Aris, who pretended to be his sister Teira being held captive by the Union. He eventually finds out the truth and switches sides along with Tao, joining Raizel and Frankenstein. He currently works as a security official at Ye Ran High School. He is a member of the RK and his codename is 'No. 2'.

Regis K. Landegre[]
Regis K. Landegre (Kor. 레지스 K. 란데그르) is the current Clan Leader of the Landegre Clan.
Regis lives by the code of the Nobles and protects humans although it was believed that his father was killed in a situation orchestrated by some of them. He is very particular about elegance and often chides his enemies for lacking class. He displays the characteristic stubbornness of the Landegre clan and reacts emotionally when provoked. Due to his grandfather's no-nonsense, strict and very conservative upbringing, he is no-nonsense and conservative as his grandfather, Gejutel.

Seira J. Roiard[]
Seira J. Loyard (Kor. 세이라 J 로이아드) is a Noble and is one of the eight current Clan Leader of Lukedonia. She is one of the Noble residents of Frankenstein's household and a student of Ye Ran High School. She is also a member of the RK-5, the last one to join.

Dr. Crombel[]
Dr. Crombel (Kor. 닥터 크롬벨) is a recurring antagonist of the series. He is a high ranking scientist of the Union who has been promoted to the rank of the 13th Elder after being recognised by Elders for his talents. He is also in command of the Assassination Squad, members of which have infiltrated into almost every sectors of the Union and are acting as Crombel's eyes and ears.
- Evil Genius: Though exactly how much is his own genius and how much is from Frankenstein's journal remains debatable.
