The Phileverse is the specific setting of The X-Files and its spinoff The Lone Gunmen. Millennium also takes place in the Phileverse, although this was not obvious at the show's start. The term is sometimes used as shorthand for describing a setting that is like The X-Files. The odd spelling comes from the X-Philes nickname.
The short-lived Fox series Strange Luck was also linked to the Phile Verse in the episode "Brothers Grim," in which the main character was advised to contact Agent Mulder at the FBI.
